Anyone ever dyed their suede trainers?

I've got a pair of badly faded Adidas Munchen. Ordered some Navy dye and the results are not what I expected

Post pics. What suede dye did you use as Adidas take well to it. Geox on the other hand dont I've found.

but also my first ever pair of reebok classics - after hating the white ones that everyone used to wear. Still not quite convinced, the bottom of the Reebok swoosh thing looks a bit plonked on top but I'll see what they look like in hand / on foot, i like the colours.

I'll post a pic when I've finished them off, still need to do the fiddly bits around the stripes and lettering.

They're looking a bit patchy so far and the navy blue looks a bit brighter than I expected!

I used Fiebing dye.

Got a link to the product youve used? Stupid question but it does say suede dye on the box?

When i did mine, i worked from outside in, did bits with a paint brush first then used the ball thing. You can try using a rubber suede brush to blend it all in as well. Also, im assuming that you cleaned them first?

I don't know. It looks like a J4 had sex with a J5 and that the child of that pairing grew up to have sex with a 270 and produce that.

I’ve always liked the J5/J6 style

I’ve wanted a pair of 270 trainers for ages, but haven’t bought any coz they’re largely worn by muppets here.

So, AJ5/6 style, combined with 270?  BIG win for me.

It's not like I dislike them, I just think I'd rather have a 4, 5 or 6. If I really wanted something with a 270 unit, I'd probably go for the React 270s at the moment.

Thanks Matt yeah i saw the festival pack, but there's not one pair where i like all the bits. I think between them tho, there's one really cool pair in there
