Have a read here. If the trainers contain polyurethane (PU) then you run a risk of midsoles crumbling due to oxidisation. This is why Jordan 1’s can last 30 odd years and don’t show too much decay due to a rubber mid/outsole and leather upper compared to Jordan 3,4,5’s and so on and so on and air max’s which have more plastics and a PU midsole which doesn’t last the test of time and requires sole swaps.

It’s not just Nike too other brands suffer the same issues. I remember watching a video on YouTube about an adidas shop somewhere abroad which had loads of OG classics which were toast due to just being left in the boxes for decades.

As for trainers, just got there for £40 delivered
They look great with jeans and are reasonably comfy! Perfect for work and as they are not limited/colab perfect beaters!

Appreciate it. I’ve got a fantastic network of friends and family, and I’m through it now. Getting on with life, and actually finding I’m not having to make the compromises I did when in the relationship. I see my kids loads and feel like a new meIf you or anyone else needs to talk contact me.
