White for me also. Good luck keeping the icy soles icy though. You could always throw a pair of black laces on if you fancy a change as no doubt you’ll have a pair knocking about from other pairs of trainers.
Speaking of the Diors, I’ve just entered for both Highs and Lows.
Iv always wanted the ice sole. im sure its going to go horribly wrong.Speaking of the Diors, I’ve just entered for both Highs and Lows.

They won’t go horribly wrong, the majority of it is down to general care. If you avoid keeping them in the box (the paper prematurely yellows shoes for some strange reason) and you clean them regularly then you’ll been perfectly fine. You can always apply peroxide cream wrapping them in cling film and leaving them out in the sun to bring them back too
Thanks for the tips Matt. Will keep them away from the box then !first pair of AF1 for me

No problem! It’s not really the box, it’s the tissue paper that’s the problem, just throw that away and perhaps get some silica bags and you’ll be fine. first pair of AF1 for me
Found an article about it.

Only one pair of AF1’s for me, had them since last year and haven’t worn them yet, new purchases keep getting in the way. The missus has several pairs.

I think you'll be impressed.
AF1s are one of the best quality "normal" trainers, imo.
I have always been a bit put off by the mid sole size on AF1's so adding the ice sole kinda breaks it up a bit. AF1s are one of the best quality "normal" trainers, imo.

I needed to get the fans down from the loft yesterday, ideal time to pick out a couple of summer pairs.. I only wish I’d stuffed them with paper before hiding away a while back, everything’s got a bit squished
I found the white/green Cortez I was looking for, so that lot can stay boxed - roasting up there!
Quite a varied selection you have got there I found the white/green Cortez I was looking for, so that lot can stay boxed - roasting up there!
Didn’t realise that Puma did some fat tongued skate shoes?
BTW some of your boxes are the wrong way up

They’re all Puma suedes - pre 2004ish. Would normally come with a thin and thick pair of laces. Didn’t realise that Puma did some fat tongued skate shoes?

There’s probably about 30 more (mostly unworn) pairs in the incorrectly packed boxes, these we’re the dailies!

Pre kids and pre house move they were all rotated daily, these days the spare bedrooms have children in I’ve got a lot of unworn stuff that’d sell, but no real interest in doing so. Can we see more pics of what looks like a pair of 5's white and sports royal.
Next time I’m up there I’ll get some pics of the V’s.. there’s a few of them too.

I had a near identical ID cortez, on the sole where you went red I went yellowTheJimi said:
AF1s wear much smaller than they look, imo. I spent years avoiding them coz I thought they looked too clumpy, but once I eventually got a pair, I totally changed my mind and are now one of my favourite silhouettes.
Thats the same reason I have been putting off. But I realy want some light grey shoes. So as I could not get the smoke grey 1;s might as well make some smile grey af1's. bristolbaron said:

If you ever do decide to sell anything. Make sure you post on here first. Im sure a few of us can find buyers for things depending on size and so on.Next time I’m up there I’ll get some pics of the V’s.. there’s a few of them too.

I've got quite a few pairs of AF1's and I find they are a little sensitive to 'clumpiness' if you get half a size out. Sz7's are perfect for me whereas a few of the 7.5's I have just don't feel right. Maybe I'm just a little sensitive/self-conscious though. As for paying £1-2k for the Diors, ridiculous as nothing special about them imo. The only ones I would have ever paid big £££ for were the Mr Cartoons (blue/grey) or the Livestrong Cartoons.
On that, would wearing the Livestrongs be a little like blasting MJ on the car stereo?

Haha! I ordered in store in Covent Garden, ID wasn’t a big thing back then. Although I love Cortez for some reason I always catch the fronts and nearly trip in them - I thought I was odd until someone started a thread about it on Crooked Tongues back in the day.. did you ever suffer from the Cortez stumble?!Jordan210 said:

Will do.. I started looking at Stockx a while back for the V’s, but it seems a lot of hassle and no real saving over Ebay etc. Pretty much everything’s a UK10. Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
