Need some more boost in my life as my big toe has just warn through the upper. Don't want to spend much as they are to be a do everything pair the last ones were £30 ish so no full priced ones. I'm a 10.5 in the ones I have now with the stretch fabric upper 11 would work too I think anyone seen any bargains

I'm in Europe on business and there's some proper little sneaker boutiques dotted about.

Bought these... Not cheap but amazing quality and I won't see another pair back in London, which is important to me.

Very cool, I like those.

Thank you, I'll take a look at those cleaners.

On a side note, if anyone would like the Yeezy 350 Israfil in UK 7.5 let me know, rrp + postage cost to you and they are yours. I don't see myself wearing these so better to sell than just keep them in the box

They are quality in hand.

And a brand I didn't have in my collection already.

and like you, I do appreciate trainers that I'm unlikely to see others wearing.

Found these in my father-in-laws lock-up, guessing they've got to be at least 30 years old, brand new with labels and in the box.

Any ideas as to a value or if they are sought after nowadays. I love them, I used to have some when I was a kid. These won't fit me though as they are size 7.

I bought a blue and yellow pair recently on eBay (size 7.5) which were also brand new and boxed etc... paid £40 delivered on eBay
Paul - have pinged you an email smile

Sportpursuit.com have some adidas at the moment, but don't think you'll get boost for £30?!

I used to lust after Valsport football boots 20-odd years ago, they always had the softest leather uppers with a nice understated design. Didn't even know they still existed, those trainers look great thumbup

Picked these up, my first pair. Kinda simple but seem OK, especially for £35, and much better quality than the saucony I tried before.

Does anyone else buy beater trainers for everyday use?

I'm finding this time of year very difficult to keep on top of shoe cleaning and especially the black marks I get on my right heel from driving. Considering trying to find something with a gum sole for daily use but there's very little about this year. So far I think I've only seen the Puma Smash V2 that I like. Any other suggestions before I pull the trigger? wink

As an aside, can't remember who it was that suggested Sneakerheads on Netflix, but thank you. Really enjoyed it! Rekindled memories of 14 year old me dragging my parents around sport shops in the states trying to find the right Jordans or Reebok Pumps!! cool

I'm a bit conflicted, because as a rule, I detest pre-distressed trainers, especially with that type of midsole, which marks easily af anyway.

However, I do really like those.

Then I looked up the brand... hehe

My Triple black Ultraboost are my beater trainers. Had them over 2 years and they still look practically as good as new.

Loads of stuff have gum soles!

Adidas spezial models come in good colours with dark sole units. Gazelle do a gum sole and leather upper!

I currently wear my Jordan 6's as beaters as they are black, warm and comfy.
