Sounds like we're into very similar stuff, we may have crossed paths at some point on social media somewhere.

That's why I usually just sell to lads who are vouched or from the forums I'm on, otherwise you get pissed around or the gits try and say your goods never turn up, but the FB pages are where you get good money rather than ok money.

Those 30th Anni smocks are fetching good money. Beware of buying anything without a certi logo now, plenty of fakes around, google 'Busystone' and have a browse, the quality is getting better and better, scary really!

Best leave this here, otherwise I'll be talking about it all all night beer
Busystone! Had to check that out...mental. Almost tempted to buy an item out of curiosity. Have you ever seen any of their stuff in real life?

Not personally no, but saw some photos and some of the stuff is very similar. For example, the 30th Anni jacket the other poster was talking about, I think one of the best ways to see it's fake is the size on the label inside the jacket.

Others like the jumpers are pretty easy to spot as fakes in real life, so I'm not sure if they're using real items for photos and the actual product they'll send will look vastly different.

Unless you're really into it and know what you're looking for, you can get stung, even experienced lads can, mental really!

The fake stuff is just embarrassing, can’t afford it then don’t buy it, end of. Before all the corona bks one of our hotel holidays each year is to a place in Turkey called Side and they have posh looking, air conditioned shopping malls all selling fake stuff - always wearing subtle stuff when I’m there so people don’t think I’m wearing a Marmaris special laugh

We all like a nice pair of trainers, but for me I go no further than classic £60 Adidas Samba etc. But could someone please explain this for me....

A friend of mine has a son aged 19 living at home and in education. He has a part tine job in a fancy clothes shop that sells very expensive branded clothes. With a little staff discount he purchased a pair of their £800 trainers from them but by means of an advance on his wage. So now he will be working there for quite a few months with all his wages being taken by his employers until the trainers are paid for.

WTF????

He young and foolish. Somewhat irresponsible of the employer though.

He might be exaggerating too. What trainers are they?

He's a fking idiot, and as are his employers if they gave him the advance and let him spend it in their shop.

I know he's an idiot, because I was that same idiot when I was 17-19, buying expensive, branded st because I thought it would impress people.

Ok, an element of it was that I personally liked the gear, but it was mostly all about being being seen to be wearing stuff.

As I said, I was an idiot.

Taking a sub for a pair of 800 sheets trainers is madness lol laugh

I remember when I was working in a smaller family type firm when one of the young lads working for me asked for a mid monthly so he could get a bag for the weekend with absolutely no hint of shame. Easy to say it’s generational as every generation has their own feckless idiots but I really felt bad for how short sighted he was and how people can be.

Anyways, back to business, has anyone bought any new ones and twos?

Yeah, I agree, was more curious to see how good they've got. I often see lads in fake stone island gear, usually easy to spot as the arm patches are either too small or the wrong colour. I get it though, it's so so expensive for what it is and most of the youths could never afford it. Bit like when I was 16 and discovered the Chinese Market in downtown Kuala Lumpur, was stocked full of knock off video games and skate clothes, felt like heaven as suddenly everything was so accessible.

Fake trainers though...just no. I used to always call out ebay sellers of fake rifts when they were popular!

Are they old ones you’ve kept? I remember you used to see them everywhere but haven’t seen them for years.

I’ve still got a pair of shell toe slip on flip flops things from when they were a thing laugh

I never bother with that, but have now done so.

As an aside, Zalando is weird with pricing - seems to fluctuate more than most retailers.

Are Jordan 1's true to size. I'm tempted to get my first pair but they look like boats in some pictures. Are they massive?

They're way more low profile than AF1s and I know you like those, so you'll be fine.

Seem to be true to size for me, aye.
