again - live in Scotland - if I restrict it to those days, they will remain pristine ...
I live in Scotland too, west coast as well, so - rather wet!

Which is why all my collection is more or less pristine biggrin

A question for the experts. A pair of trainers I absolutely love haven't been sold in ages. I want to get a genuine pair (or ten!) of the same. Where's the best place to do this?

Nike Air Max Modern Flyknit - like these...

ETA: Or perhaps some alternative trainers. These have a pretty good arch support (nothing major) but more importantly are elasticated - so the laces are really just for show. The most snug feel ever. I also think due to the material, they're also super flexible and comfy.

Nike Air Huarache could be an alternative for the fit you desire. Or any Primeknit or Flyknit upper.

I actually don't like the Huarache, but do the Primeknit / Flyknit all have the elasticated inner? If so, that'll be worth a look for me.

These have dropped in a gorgeous colourway...

Another plus is that you won't need to join a raffle to get your hands on a pair either

I've more experience of Primeknit and it fits like a glove IMO.

Have a look on eBay there seems to be a few pairs of various sizes on there.

Other than that how about Ultraboost?

Swift Run Primeknit might fit the bill.

Has anyone got any Zoom sole Jordan 1's?

I like the London ones about to drop but am interested in how much more comfortable they supposedly are.

My Dunk High Pro's are Zoom.

Very comfy. Assuming the J1 uses the same midsole, you won't be disappointed.

Equally tho, don't go expecting Boost / React levels of squish.

I don't think you need to worry about it, however hehe

I have quite a few of the Zoom AJ1s. Don't get too excited about comfort. They're better than a normal J1 but we're not talking about large degrees.

Needed something a bit smarter for meetings and restaurants.

Went Sneep Crew again. The leather is out of this world. The suppleness and quality of it is ridiculous.

The photos weren't taken with a flash but look at sheen and deep oxblood colour. Beautiful.

They look good, I do prefer the green ones posted earlier but these do look “smarter” as you say.

I keep looking, and keep getting tempted, but how do I ensure they're genuine? Or is this unlikely to be faked?

Seen these, in my size. Not the ideal colour way, but they're so comfortable I don't care.
