First post in this thread! I really fancy a pair of Gazelle OGs in Navy but they seem impossible to find. There are the odd pair on eBay, none of which are my size.
Is it a case that Adidas only occasionally produce these trainers, hence you cannot buy them from Adidas only from third parties?
I have had the same with Adidas Jeans, once they become scarce the price seems to double in eBay.

You have it exactly right. When Adidas (or any manufacturer) stops producing a model they dwindle in number and eventually become more valuable. This works for both models, like the Gazelle, and specific colours in the aforementioned model). Navy is a core colour, and the Gazelle OG was a core model, but that doesn't mean they won't eventually become harder to find. As a workaround to this, I believe Oi Polloi had the Valencia model for sale in the past few days when I was browsing their website - it reuses all the same tooling but had leather and suede rather than just suede.
As for the Gazelle OG, M&M Direct had them the last time I went looking on their website in a decent range of sizes and colours. I wouldn't mind seeing the OG model brought back alongside the chunkier '90s Gazelle.

Thank you, just checked out M&M Direct and unfortunately they don't seem to have any either. I have recently got into my retro looking trainers, hence specifically wanted the OGs. Had a look on Oi Polloi and the Cadets immediately grabbed my attention and they have my size. Now do I really need another pair of white Adidas trainers.......
