Having been there recently to visit some family friends reaping the benefits, the Costa Del Sol. Specifically Duquesa, Puerta Banus, and obviously Marbella.

Vile. Went with an open mind having assumed they got a bad rep, but no, never again.

People who spell their shortened name in a daft way. For example Victoria -> Vicki, Rebecca -> Bekki etc.

Not sure if council, put all our old DVD's. 100 odd on eBay to get rid, currently up to £1.20, someone contacted me saying he will place a bid if I will deliver them to Radcliffe, 30 plus miles away. Conservatively 2 Hours in the car and two/three gallons of fuel.

Only eBayed as cant seem to log onto Freecycle any more.

That's happened to me before. I put a few old DVD players on Gumtree. They sold for (from memory) £10 in total and the purchaser e-mailed me his delivery address for me to deliver them to! It was in a township a few miles from where I live in Glasgow. Curiosity got the better of me and I delivered them, but took my son along as my rear gunner. The purchaser was a fully paid up member of the councilista. Paid me the £10 in coins as well.

Bloody hell I'm almost so un-Council I didn’t understand it. I clicked on their actual website and from what I can ascertain, there are no prices, even though everything is £10 per week. You invite the nice people round who will doubtless be like double-glazing salesmen, only worse cos the actual price is irrelevant - it’s just £10 per week!

A bit like used car salesmen now I come to think of it. “How much can you afford” sorts.

Ripe for ripping off thickos who will probably end up paying 30 quid a square meter for 10 a square meter flooring. Free grippers though

Wot, no mention of the daughter Sekki (short for Prosecco) or the son, Rizla?

What's Rizla short for?

Cos his Mum smoked and drank all through her pregnancy...

£10/sqm carpet sold for £60 but if you sign up today, at the bargain price of £30, just for you, don’t tell my manager.

Though, ultimately £60 if they manage to pay the full term!

I quite like Duquesa - it’s a completely British enclave, a lot of my work mates live there (I work in gaming hence Gibraltar). Good night out, good bars, nice beach and a short stroll away is Mini India, probably the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Mrs DS is coming out with me in a months time and we’re doing a couple of days there.

Come to think of it - gaming. Council.

if you're trying to have a pop at DS, you're wasting your time. Our canine constellation chum has embraced his inner-Council to a degree that puts the rest of us to shame. His titillating hints at Mrs DS's willingness to go full-chav in the sack are as eagerly awaited here as austinsmirk's latest tale from the ungrateful underworld of social housing, so leave him alone. wink

Damn. And I was going to point out that if it was British and surrounded by Spain but with international coastal waters, it would be an exclave.
