It's not about looking good / bad, it's about whether it is council or not.

And it absolutely is biggrin
Nope it's council when they wish them happy birthday!

They're dead, how happy is it going to be (and I speak as someone who's mum died 2 weeks ago and we had her funeral on Thursday)

Sorry to hear about your Mum, that must be very difficult. Hope you're doing ok.

You could probably take a higher level approach to council - making vague statements on social media addressing people who wont read it. Or just vague attention seeking posts in general, to illicit the "U ok hun x" response

Huh?

I wasn't looking for sympathy, I was trying to avoid the "you're heartless and don't understand how hard it is for people" posts, but feel free to have this parrot.

Parrot for me. Thought I might have been a bit of a dick and misread that. As you were.

Nothing says council as much as a hot tub. A company advertising hot tubs and picking an image of a dog wiping its arse - off the scale

I really don't understand the issue with hot tubs.

We have had a lovely afternoon in ours!

When you call yourself Garry the Barry, you might be so super council you don’t even know it

Isn't it a bit, you know, hot, for a hot tub?

biggrin

Meanwhile Garry advertised his hot tub ownership by the introduction of a new plant in his front lawn.

Inflatable paddling pools.

That's got to be even further along the council scale than a hot tub.

There’s 2 side of the fence with hot tubs. They’re fine if the garden has the privacy so they’re not overlooked or heard by neighbors but having one where 10 others houses have to shut their curtains and windows to avoid looking in on you having an outdoor bath is council level selfish.

Being able to see into another’s garden from your own house = council.
