There were times when the quickest way from A to B was by crossing the Thames twice, but regular Joes could never see that, and thought that they were being mugged.

Joking aside I think this is a serious failure of basic parenting. It's one of the many roles of a parent to not only encourage the eating of healthy food but also to explain the harm that junk food causes.
The poor girl has no doubt ended up with whale like proportions due to mistakes, laziness and poor education from the off.

Sorry to hear this Frank. You come across to me and probably many others as a humorous well rounded guy.I find the way some people are treated on here a little unfair. There are threads absolutely full of total bile, bullying and unpleasantness towards other posters and yet they seem allowed to run and run.
Then you have your agenda pushers with their own reasons to post and to belittle others
It's how things go on forums but to be blunt there are some threads that put this place in the gutter
