I blame my recent 30 days banishment to the other side of the pale, it perhaps dulled my sense of perception.
You've had a red card? What for?

It’s probably better to say nothing, and let it die a natural death, but like a whole slew of alleged wrongdoers from time immemorial, I didn’t feel that I was guilty of what I was cited for, but I accepted it, took it on the chin, and will try to self censor in future.

Do you get a 30 day ban and then allowed to come back?

I am banned from one particular thread - well, I can't post on it - but no one has ever told me?

He didn’t. He got a 7 day ban but took the long way round in coming back.

Not sure that’s council, it’s more sad than anything, 1) for the school thinking this was a good idea and 2) for the mother letting her get in that state unless she has some mitigating health condition, not including pie consumption. Looking at the mother my guess is on pies.

I really wish these pocket hitlers that run schools were publicly answerable for their frankly pathetic carryings on. They’ve probably done lasting damage to this poor girl, they’re bad enough at that age as it is without this sort of humiliation.

Nice try V8, but no, it’s easy to slag off off Black Cab drivers for what they might have done, and I’m not dumb enough to say that they were all angels, but I never took punters for a ride, (no pun intended).
There were times when the quickest way from A to B was by crossing the Thames twice, but regular Joes could never see that, and thought that they were being mugged.

Precisely why Uber works. Unfamiliar with the area yet the punter sees a real time map update on their app.

..."I don't understand, I've done nothing wrong," the girl, from Fareham, said."

Well apart from eating too much and exercising too little that is.

Her mum's a fattie too.

Joking aside I think this is a serious failure of basic parenting. It's one of the many roles of a parent to not only encourage the eating of healthy food but also to explain the harm that junk food causes.

The poor girl has no doubt ended up with whale like proportions due to mistakes, laziness and poor education from the off.

I expect the usual excuses are used...

Comfort eating
Big boned
Puppy fat
Her medication is responsible
Etc, etc ad infinitum

There are three of the seven deadly sins at work and the bottom
line, which will be a big one is this...

She's a gob.

Sorry to hear this Frank. You come across to me and probably many others as a humorous well rounded guy.
I find the way some people are treated on here a little unfair. There are threads absolutely full of total bile, bullying and unpleasantness towards other posters and yet they seem allowed to run and run.
Then you have your agenda pushers with their own reasons to post and to belittle others
It's how things go on forums but to be blunt there are some threads that put this place in the gutter
