I have a foreign relative who comes to the UK on a regular basis. He's absolutely loaded, but loves going to a Toby carvery because he thinks it's brilliant value!!!
The thing I love most about Toby’s carvery , is the total lack of pretentiousness. What you see is what you get, you get loads for your money, and no one is going to be Instagraming about where they are, whilst eating the hyper priced mouthful of food they’ve just spent a hundred notes on.GOATever said:

I'd avoid the Wetherspoons thread if I were you, the snobs would probably burn you at the stake.....GOATever said:

what is council about it?- strange website layout (cheaply made using a template)
- advertising 'one of payment' and 5 easy payments (paying in installments is very chavvy)
- that can't be robbie williams can it? must be a lookalike right?
Having said that, the product has caught the attention of The gadget show and has appeared on their show. there are lots of mediia entertainment dongles out on the market trying to appear good value. I've noticed this especially with this years run up to xmas.
I'm not sure if it's a real trend, or a trend thats forced onto people, but there seems to be some kind of idea of buying an affordable media dongle that's 'good value' and can be used to satisfy the family & friends during the festive season.

I’m not sure that Robbie and the item were photographed at the same time. - strange website layout (cheaply made using a template)

Probably been mentioned (several times over) but went to a toby carvery the other day, fking hell now that is council x100.
No, if you want proper council go to a Crown Carvery. Both are part of the Mitchell & Butler group, but Crown Carvery is the cheap version (if you can believe) it of the Toby Carvery, with a carvery meal being 2/3rds the price of Toby at around £5.
I will leave this here.

I have been dipping in and out of the thread, so apologies if it's been discussed already: where does Hungry Horse sit in the hierarchy. I pass one on my way to work. It is on a country road, next to a couple of garages/truck repair places and a trailer park.
Do we have an " Answering your own Questions" thread?Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
