I had to check the calendar to make sure it’s not April the first.

Why is that council?

She has a limited budget, which she entrusted to Asda. They didn't deliver her order and then took a few days to refund her money, leaving her without money and food.

Being hard-up is not council. It's just st.

Certainly audible elements of council, but the article alludes to her eldest being autistic, and the other boy having sight issues...

If what she is saying is true, then it seems a poor show from Asda.

However, and going a bit O/T, a preggers mum-of-three... Sometimes wonder if there was any point to the sexual revolution - abortions, birth control...

An entire hinged ottoman style bed collapsed? Probably overloaded with Turks.

On a different news report on it, it states the Ottoman style bed had seperate halfs (each persons side). I still can't work out how she couldn't manage to lift it even a few centimeters to release her arm, do they weigh that much, enough to crush a limb??

They're quite heavy especially without the gas strut to take some of the weight. Could you lift a mattress one handed while trapped in a bed mechanism? Also if she was trapped towards the hinge end she'd not have good mechanical advantage.

One kid has tantrums, one is thick and one wears glasses

Having no cash to feed your kids is terrible. But thanks to Asda compo and a bung from the local rag, they’ll all be off to MaccyDs tonight.

Global developmental delay? Sorry, that's a new one on me. As Peter Kay put it, "When we were at school, we just had The Thick Desk".
Another kid on the way too, and no mention of the dad(s). Or do they sensibly just keep a low profile while these women are having a very public rant?

i don't see how that article is something to mock her about. shes got kids and is pregant. nothing of her lifestyle is mentioned. she borrrowed money frrom a friend so i dont see the big deal.

i do think however she could've done a little better and always kept something as backup in the freezer or cupboard just incase. absolute worst case scenario you can give them oven chips and beans.

lots of these newspapers are publishing totally non-stories lately.

She said she had to keep vomiting to keep moisture in her mouth... surely that makes you more dehydrated? scratchchin

No drugs and alcohol policy at place of work? I’d sell them down the river on that one, narcissistic bh.
A lot of places won't implement drug testing because the senior managers would be first out the door with their love of Columbian Marching Powder.

I worked in a place years ago and we had four new people start. It was basic work so if you could count, spell and talk you were a shoe-in. Anyway they recruited four people , one looked like Kevin from Harry Enfield and Chums, he had that stoner awkward teenager vibe, and another was like a energiser bunny clearly she'd been on the bangers the night before the other two were fairly normal.

I came down from the managers office and decided to break the ice by saying ' Right, I've been told to do a short induction just before we do the drug swabs'

The look of horror on all their faces I remember to this day, it was brilliant, then the relief when I told them I was just winding them up. I wasn't the most popular in that workplace that's for sure.
