Those flying pugs are, surely, rare. They must be the only 3 ever made

Getting the beers in early to save queueing at the bar, but then having to drink them quickly before they get too warm

That looks familiar. Is that Lytham Green? If so I used to work in the solicitors behind the pub(many MANY moons ago!)
Lytham Green, as in the suburb of Blackpool?

I do have a summerhouse with a bar in it, however I don't live on a housing estate and it's tucked away in a corner of my garden - sorry, this is PH - the grounds where nobody would be disturbed at drunken raucous goings on.

That bar in that article looks excellent, I'd love it. It looks very well made indeed, and in itself is not council. However it's on a bloody housing estate, in a space right next to the house and jammed up against the fence and a matter of feet from the next door neighbours windows, so any noise or goings on are going to be very evident, not to mention it looming above them.

In that respect it's totally inconsiderate and selfish - so its council as f--k! I'd be on to planning about that, no matter how good it is.

Agreed, but nothing more depressing than a pub on your own.

Depressing?! I dream of the day!

Not having to hear other people talking about inane guff you don’t want to (but have to) overhear, walking straight up to the bar, the bartender knowing exactly what you want, you can fart out the first pint without fear of reprisal, you get the good seat where you can spread your legs out.... it’s the stuff of dreams Ray!

Give it another 2 or 3 years and it’ll be back to that in my local cloud9
