The DIY on a budget page on facebook is a rich hunting ground.
Lots of council points here;
Badly executed
Mix and match fonts
Writing on walls
Tacky
and the names!
I edited the kid out in the last one but it was a council classic of that stupid headband thing they all seem to wear.

Jesus! The names!
It’s not access to education and services that’s affecting social mobility, it’s parents choosing stupid names. You’re never going to be seen by a doctor named Jaxon, are you!
I don't know if this is still correct, but the best-paid name used to be Timothy. It’s not access to education and services that’s affecting social mobility, it’s parents choosing stupid names. You’re never going to be seen by a doctor named Jaxon, are you!
It's definitely a real thing though. Stupid names are not going to be of any use in getting past the first and second passes of CV filtering.

Absolutely. The professionally outraged will get upset about it but a ridiculous name sets so many alarm bells ringing that you aren't even going to bother - in the bin! It's a fact of life. The other thing is that do you really want "Deliylah Luna" representing your company (unless you're a pimp)? It makes you look ridiculous. It's definitely a real thing though. Stupid names are not going to be of any use in getting past the first and second passes of CV filtering.
A good name costs precisely nothing, and yet can have a marked influence on the perception of and prosperity of your offspring, be it at an interview or in criminal court. Giving your kid a stupid name is no different than giving them a stupid facial tattoo; it might be "yer 'ooman rights" but that doesn't mean it's not stupid.

If the kids sensible they'll adopt a conventional name, if not then QED.
There was some research done on this in the US Uneducated black families naming girls being the worst offenders - there were numerous (deliberate ?) misspellings of Unique as a name and seemed to be a thing to try to name your daughter with a made up name.
The kids that legally changed their names did noticeably better in life than those that didn't.
The research was somewhat inconclusive though - was it having a normal name that gave them a boost - or was it the sort of person who recognised the stupidity and changed their name, was likely to succeed in life.......
'Ghetto' is the US equivalent of Council

Ghetto is more poor ethnic minorities than council although some of the names they come up with are definitely council. The yanks also have trailer trash, they’re probably more traditionally council than ghetto. Think the scene from Ted when Mark Wahlberg rattles all the names off.Uneducated black families naming girls being the worst offenders - there were numerous (deliberate ?) misspellings of Unique as a name and seemed to be a thing to try to name your daughter with a made up name.

We are being council, put the lights on the big Rhododendron in the front garden last weekend.
Not much to do with Christmas, its mainly as got the kids coming home, one of them has a birthday and its grim out so a load of brightly coloured lights outside is very welcoming.
Depends whether it’s a ponticum or not. Ponticum = council. More than likely your local Council invasive species removal squad (is that a thing?).Not much to do with Christmas, its mainly as got the kids coming home, one of them has a birthday and its grim out so a load of brightly coloured lights outside is very welcoming.
