It's really starting to feel autumnal now, trees are really turning, and it's getting dark in the mornings. The short days are sad.
Yet facebook reminds me it was 29 degrees a few years back.Track of Lorenzo still causing headaches. But... as per previous hurricanes around this time, it looks like it will be followed by a spell of warmer, settled weather. Time will tell.

I installed rain app blue icon with a rain cloud and bell. No idea if that's the best or not.
That's the one I have. Useful to a point... It's quick to load, but compared to the netweather radar the accuracy is poor. I use it for a quick glimpse - but switch to netweather when I'm trying to see if a shower will hit, for example. Also netweather shows lightning - but has no alarm...There is a pro version of the app, with customisable options, such as the strength of rain and the distance away.

I take it that it's better than the met office app, does it get its data from other sources or is it that it updates more often?
Netweather? Updates every 5 minutes, and can zoom in on a postcode. I've never looked at the MetO radar before - looks like the same dataset, but presented less well. There's a web page for it too: https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar (there's a paid for version of this too, but that really is over the top)
