I'd never heard of the term but had often been suspect of reviews - I am just now looking for some earbuds the duplicate reviews by different names is an outrage!!

34 reviews, all in the past month, all verified, all written in the same style and all 5 star.
The reviewers all have only 2 or 3 reviews each, and they seem to have reviewed the same products.
e.g. 25 April, 3 reviewers: Louisa, Ryan and Diane - all have made just 2 reviews each, and both of those reviews are for these brushes and a fitness watch. Coincidence?
Jeff Bezos needs to take better control of his team. Piss-poor oversight by Amazon.
This has been happening to me for months, every couple of weeks I get a flurry of unordered amazon parcels. Never have any paperwork with them, no indication of sender, they just come in amazon boxes. I have assorted cheap headphones, a couple of cheap powerbank chargers, some weird face masks and a thing you put on your nose to prevent snoring, and a load of other stuff I can’t remember. I saved the first few unopened in case someone turned up to collect it all but it’s all cheap crap in the main that no one is going to bother want back.
I saw a bit on the beeb recently about the fake review scam so assume that’s what has been happening.
