Holding grudges with people on PH

I don’t bear a grudge over anyone, I just pass them over when they slag off my car

Seems a bit daft when I am never going to meet them, they just get added to the ignore list

Those that have added good advice, I’d buy em a pint, but I will probably never meet them either

I've had a PT Cruiser and didn't mind it persay but the boat-like ride made the Mrs motion sick constantly so it only lasted for about 6weeks before being moved on.

I've always had a soft spot for the convertible version and debated on buying one and then lowering it with stiffer springs etc.. but just never got round to it.

I'll be the first to admit that I can be a person who holds strong opinions but I don't take forums seriously. A forum is a bunch of people behind pseudonyms that cant really do anything to me beyond call me a nasty name. You have to be a sandwich short of a picnic to seek validation from a place like this.

OTOH, I've had a few people who no matter what I've said, have taken it upon themselves to vehemently prove it wrong because "everything I've ever posted has been wrong". I mean if I said water was wet, they'd swear until they were blue in the face it was dry. Most of these nutters aren't on here any more, not through any actions of my own but because they had similar fights with a lot of other posters. Alas, I wish I were special.

There are a few posters I ignore because they are idiots, but that's not a grudge, that's just me not caring. Those posters likely wont know who they are because I never make a big deal out of it.

Most people are fine. There are some obsessive, self obsessed individuals who seem to live in a constant, low level argument with several people at any given time.

Best way with them is to ignore, and quietly giggle at their pomposity.

It is stramge the opinions some people have of themselves on here.

Some people that think themselves above petty arguments and the ones that seem to instigate them.

The person who thinks it's their job to pick arguments loses the plot when questioned.

I have no experience of grudges..all seems silly . It is just a web forum, and I have no particular point of view that would be controversial, I think.

I do miss the humour though...it seemed before that there were some real characters here and that seems to have departed.

I don't hold a grudge against anyone here but I do ignore a few people these days, they just aren't worth the effort conversing with in my opinion.

No doubt some ignore me too.

If you mean my 27l Rolls Royce V12, that would be me.
I got a non-desk job that keeps me out for 12 hours a day, I made friends IRL who I keep going to events with at the weekends - and I have since bought a crashed helicopter, a track car and a derelict Green Goddess. I am trying to focus and downsize, however...
