Mildly irritated by this one. Previously explained I would be collecting car from garage (MOT yesterday) but currently on nights so would be 4pm earliest which still required me getting up earlier than normal to accommodate them... they were travelling Glasgow to Edinburgh.
So he had joined the M8 then had a change of heart, had he?
Better off out of it. Although I suspect people are keen on the car but unaware of rising insurance costs. Another interested party last week apologised profusely for cancelling and explained their insurance quotes were beyond their comfort zone.

I leave work on Friday and will no longer be working from home, so don't need my 34" Ultrawide. Listed it for £150 collection only from Leeds
Within 10 minutes.
"I'll give you £80, I'm in Birmingham so will cost me £50 in fuel. If we can agree a deal I'll set off now"
Didn't even waste my time with a reply, just blocked them!
Follow up to this - 3rd enquiry was a proper one - have you still got this, if so, I'll have it.Within 10 minutes.

There seems to be a lot of folk on FB who don't receive messages, legit ones etc. Don't know if it's a glitch, or there's something switched off.
For some reason all marketplace comments/questions on my account go straight into an archived chat folder. Tried to change it but gave up - poss the same/similar issue.Tonberry said:
Bought my last motorcycle on FB. Seller lived about 5 miles away - decent bike - whole transaction wrapped up in an hour.
Likewise. I was looking for a cheap DA polisher as I'd never used one before and wanted to try one out on my cheap daily. Fella selling a brand new one for £50, new it was £95. Messaged him making sure it was still for sale, he came back saying it was but wouldn't take any offers as he'd been lowballed a few times. Agreed to head straight over; It was a described (pads were still in their plastic wrapping), he plugged it in to prove it was working. Monies exchanged and I left. This popped up on my YouTube feed, thought it was appropriate for this thread.

There was a listing for some CCTV cameras on Marketplace.
The looked like a nice upgrade from the ones I have, They were quite old and not really worth £15 each...the listing stated:
All useable and working order. 17 pieces in total. Need a clean
So I asked...
Right...thanks for that
I didn't bother trying again. FFS.

You should have kept the comms going by being equally ambiguous, for example, reply back with 'these are ideal for my installation'The looked like a nice upgrade from the ones I have, They were quite old and not really worth £15 each...the listing stated:
