Are 'Esper drills' any good? I usually use Makita but I'm willing to change: do they have a cordless range?
I'd go for Milwalkies.

FB Marketplace can work well.

Decided to advertise a car this morning. It was under priced which probably helped (probably a £3.5k+ car advertised at £2,195). I did have a few '£1,100 for cash' messages, although actually more of this came from the PH advert.

3 serious enquiries, one who wanted to see it Thursday (and I'm pretty sure would have bought), and one who viewed it at 5pm, paid by bank transfer and drove it away.
Wasn't expecting to sell it quite so quickly and forgot to take the dash cam out - but it was painless so can't really complain.

I may retract my statement anyway. Buyer says he's just started it and it's showing a fault - not one I've ever seen.

A well worn path unfortunately.

After a few texts, it seems not. Just bad luck and not the normal way these stories go

More and more I'm seeing

"just wanting what I paid for it" on ads where someone has bought (or broughtlaugh ) something and they don't want it.

If I wanted one of whatever they're selling I'd buy it from a reputable seller.
Brought it from a shop? They didn't buy it and spend good money. So maybe it was brought home after they took it without paying.
My nephew tells me the best place to buy second hand electronics is CEX because they give 2 year warranties on X box 4s (he's saving up)

The one that always makes me chuckle Is someone selling a £200 gift voucher and wanting £190 for it

Indeed. What a plum. So, you can't exchange it if it's the wrong one, or you realise there's one stuffed at the back of the garage cupboard, along with numerous other statatory rights that you get from a retailor.

I keep them, as with various colour touch in pens etc you never know when you'll need it again.

Live in a tourist location with folk coming on holiday etc

At least once a day we get something like "Hi, I'm coming to **** in July (or other months but usually about 5 months later than posted) where's good for fish&chips/evening meal/sunday lunch/visiting on a wednesday/music at a weekend etc."

This is followed by a list of every restaurant/fish and chip place/cafe/pub in the town as everyone here has their own favourite.

Just read previous posts or wait until you get here you numpties!
