Oh, and also, Black Friday.

It hasn't even started yet and I'm already sick of it.

Parcelforce dropping stuff off at a local post office for collection. It's only Tuesday and the post office is only open 9am-5pm, which means I can't pick up my parcel until Saturday grumpy

The Royal Mail collection office is just down the road from me and conveniently open until 7 or 8pm everyday and open before 7am too.

Drivers on narrow dark country lanes who don't drive at a speed at which they can safely avoid pedestrians.

Drivers on narrow country lanes in daylight who think it's OK to pass pedestrians at high speed with only a couple of feet of clearance.

Pedestrians on dark unlit country roads wearing dark coloured clothes and not even carrying a torch.

People who continually share political propaganda thinking it'll sway the way people vote.

TBH - some of the more extreme people I know who do, it makes me not want to vote for the party they're supporting.

(It's generally Labour or Lib Dem people that do this).

Or cyclists, I use to live in Lincolnshire and travelled home regularly in the small hours. The amount of people on bikes with one weedy light (or sometimes no lights at all) and all dark clothing in the pitch black was scary.

Yep exactly. I have no issue with people using the roads for running and cycling, but look after yourself and make yourself more visible.

I used to tow a trailer a lot for work. The amount of people that would step over the tow bar between the car and trailer when I was sat in traffic beggared belief. People are just odd.
Also used to be a common injury at the airport where people would walk between the little trains of baggage trolleys, which would then start up and knock them/drag them over.

Is that because supporters of those parties do it more, you have more friends who are supporters of those parties, or you support other parties and are more inclined to believe their stuff? I'm seeing quite a lot from Conservative supporters, mainly posting anti-labour stuff rather than pro-conservative though. Which leads me to something that annoys me beyond reason.
a)Why don't parties/supporters advertise the good reasons to vote for them rather than the reasons not to vote for the opposition
b)Why so supporters of things (applies to various other views not just political, post things that are so obviously bks that it detracts from their own message

I totally agree. It's always been thus, of course, but I've never understood the marketing pitch of "vote for / buy from us - we're less st than the alternatives!"

And Royal Mail wonder why they are losing money to their competitors.

It's the same when I am sending parcels out from selling stuff on eBay.

Royal Mail: Higher prices, only open in office hours Mon-Fri, half day Saturday, closed Sunday.
Hermes: Generally lower prices (although Royal Mail are better on some higher value items), drop off at my local OneStop which is open from 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week.

Crying kids and babies on Aircraft rantingmad

If a kid is crying it's because it wants or needs something.
Used to use a dummy with my kid and it worked perfectly shutting them up. Some perants just think their little darling is wonderful and all other passengers should feel bthe same way.....well I bloody don't rage
Just got back from Miami on a red eye flight with not one bit of sleep!
If I could have moved seats I would but sadly had to put up with it.
By the last hour of the flight I was on the edge of grabbing the child and flushing it down the toilet rage

Unfortunately not all kids are the same.

I only have an issue when parents arent doing their best.

We never ventured onto a flight without a carry-on bag specifically to calm each child - filled with whatever toys, distractions, food, sweets, treats, clothing, comforters that we could fit into it. We never ceased to be amazed by the parents who would attempt a flight without any obvious means of comforting or distracting their baby or toddler.
