People who publicly thank people for a night out by giving some gushy speech followed by tagging the people in the post.

Couldn't you have just DM/PM'd them?

But then how would those with living the FOMO life receive confirmation that they weren't invited, or declined to go out and did indeed miss out on a great evening? hehe

"Black Friday" . The title should a clue but some deals seem to run until Dec 20th. Surely that should be "Black December". I saw one today (it might have been GAP) advertising "early Black Friday deals" - is that not Thursday?

This is all they have where I go training in Belgium. I am made to put it in Tea yikes

I have been out and sourced some Class A fresh milk from a local dealer.
But the first brew when I get home is always better.

Yeah!

Another classic yesterday was this couple who went for a long weekend to Bratislava and the bloke did a gushy update saying how she means the world to him and finished with something like "two hearts, one mind" or similar .......... this again could have been done face to face or PM'd.....

Why haven't you unfriended, or at least unfollowed, them?

(I agree it sounds vomit-inducing btw)

The BBC's ruination and obsession with Sports Personality of the Year.

This was once a great show, now it's utter drivel.

It was her bloke. I'm not friends with him, but he tagged her so I saw it.

Websites with forums where one logs in but the site logs one out, without telling one, and without prior warning or reason, while it is in use, many times a day.

Phortunately, I have come across only one that does this.

Spent ages trying to work out if a new light fitting with 5x GU10 bulbs was 35W *total* (ie 7W per bulb) or 35W per bulb. Instructions weren't at all clear so erred on the side of caution and bought 7W (LED) bulbs.

Went to actually fit the bulbs and there is a sticker on each holder saying "MAX 35W HALOGEN GU10 BULBS".

I'd strongly advise against using GU10 halogen bulbs anyway - they used to blow every 2-3 months when I used them, plus they run really hot. Then I switched to GU10 LED and haven't had one fail in over 5 years.

So LEDs is the better choice anyway. Just don't try to put them through a dimmer unless
a) your dimmer switch supports LEDs and
b) the bulbs are dimmable.

Where would one source a supply of GU10 LED. Come on who's your dealer.
