laugh I am particularly angry about this, does the below make more sense to you?

A health & safety representative recently caused a change in business process due to being a sissy. The result of them being a sissy they enforced a course of action upon the rest of the business which caused a high level of risk of injury/accident on various 3rd parties - much higher than the original problem.

They then displayed a level of petty griping by pointing out that I should care about people when really what they are saying is it doesn't matter to them that other people could be caused harm by their actions because they have fulfilled their role of being a sissy and protected their sphere of influence.

I think they should a go and take a running jump and let people get on with it, that won't happen because jumping has far too many potential risks and a meeting should be called with clipboards and alot of humming.
Venting toxic fumes on to the local housing estate instead of managing them inside the factory?

That reminds me of a particular company which I used to work for. They decided to have a half-day manual handling training course which included an instructor and a Powerpoint-based lecture.

One of my colleagues asked "Are we required here and now to demonstrate our competency in lifting boxes?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"It's a breach of Health & Safety regulations".

Just about every TV drama, especially the BBC, you can bet that unless it's a specific police/crime theme, just about all the characters are either teachers, doctors, nurses or lawyers (Common Purpose careers). The lack of depth and interest of characters in most dramas is utter bilge.

The BBC is completely incapable of making decent drama. For that reason, and many others, the sooner that I can vote with my wallet and reject that organisation the better.

Catch “The Split” on iPlayer if you can, it may change your mind, or maybe not.

it was this that sparked my outrage last night. Mrs Digga suggested look at it, "what's it about?" I asked.

Just stop paying, I have not paid it for years. I just get the threatening letters and had a couple of notes saying they called but no one at home. There is no obligation to speak to them and will just close the door on them .

Okay Digga, I think, or at least hope that you’ll agree, this stuff is all subjective.
The fact that “The Split” features a family law firm, where two sisters and their mother work, or worked, then quit is by the by.
The series centred on legal matters, but not everyone was a lawyer, there were the clients who were seeking divorce, and their stories within the story.
I’m no acting critic, or expert, but I thought that the acting, dialogue, sets etc. were credible and good, both my wife and I were disappointed when it came to its inevitable conclusion, a bit like when you’re nearing the end of the final chapter of a good book.
Personally, when that happens, I feel gutted that I no longer have that book to look forward to reading, that’s a bit like how I felt when “The Split” ended.

Ever listen to the radio in the car?
You know, those stations without adverts?
Or go on BBC Websites or sports apps?
Watch iPlayer?

I decided to look up what TikTok was tonight since I keep seeing it advertised. It's another place for these people but from what I can gather it's just vain people dancing. Some of them are making serious money but I guess I'm just not the target market.

Out of those you only need a licence to watch IPlayer the others you can use without a licence. But no I don't do any of those.

Every month I get the same email from American Express:

"Your statement is now ready for your Platinum Cashback Credit Card. It will be available to view online within the next 24 hours."

WELL IT'S NOT READY THEN IS IT?!

Certain music tracks on the radio in the car.

Often stuff I really enjoy when I'm not driving.

Confused? Well don't be. This certain type of musical amusement I'm on about is the type that has some form of police siren, or other pseudo-emergency services noise deep in it's backing track, or worse still, one (title/artist I can't recall) that my wife was playing in the car via her iPod recently.

It was a track on a new album from one of her favourite artists (she's bought three recently, hence my difficulty in recalling the exact one). And what is incredibly annoying about it is a grating mechanical noise that, when driving the car, sounds to me like a dragging brake pad or a grumbly bearing. I don't know if it's just me that it sounds like that to, because I'm over 60% deaf and hearing sound processed through a hearing aid, or if it sounds like the car is broken to everyone else. But it's damned annoying, more so even than when I'm driven mad searching ahead and in my mirrors for a non-existent ambulance or fire appliance on a 'shout'...

Yes, that's true, and yet the BBC provides them from the money it gets from the licence fee.

Fair enough then.

It annoys me when people say that the TV licence is a "scam" and then ask If I head Ken Bruce or whoever yesterday or watched Killing Eve on the Iplayer.
Not sure that Britbox is the way forward either.

I watch TV shows on my evening commute on the train. I'm joining Netflix as I am running out of series I want to watch on Amazon Prime. I have watched all these:

Under The Dome
Haven
Lucifer
Hell on Wheels
Black Sails
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
The Mentalist
Lethal Weapon
House
Alaska State Troopers
The Boys
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan - Season 1
Justified
The Man in the High Castle
