Well, quite.
Last time I visited (which was years ago), the Westminster branch of Yo Sushi had exactly that - a central room of wash basins, then off that a room of urinals, and a room of cubicles. Seemed eminently sensible to me.
Sushi? None of that nasty foreign food for me, me ol' China. I'm off for a Korma and a couple of pints of Stella, followed by a trip to a proper khazi.Last time I visited (which was years ago), the Westminster branch of Yo Sushi had exactly that - a central room of wash basins, then off that a room of urinals, and a room of cubicles. As for "restroom" and "bathroom" when used in reference to toilets? I don't want a rest, nor do I want a damned bath. I want to take a great big dump, so kindly direct my to a toilet!

A word etymologically related to the actions of washing. What you want, sir, is a crapper. As for "restroom" and "bathroom" when used in reference to toilets? I don't want a rest, nor do I want a damned bath. I want to take a great big dump, so kindly direct my to a toilet!

Meh, just forget all gendered toilets and have two "rooms", one with urinals, one with toilets in cubicals. You want to sit down, you go to the toilets, you want to stand up, go to the urinals. Who cares about if you identify as boy, girl, bit of both or Apache helicopter.
The trouble with that is you need to get the ratio right. Apparently one of the London theatres did this but it meant that it went from having one for gents and one for ladies, to having one for gents (urinals) and one for everyone (cubicles), so unsurprisingly a lot of women were annoyed that the queues had got bigger.yellowjack said:

Aye, I can imagine.Ever wonder why the queue for the ladies is always longer? Compare in your mind how long it takes to have a quick slash in a urinal compared to how long it would take to use a cubicle (sitting down) instead. Then imagine that instead of "trousers and pants down, fire #1, number 2" there are tights etc involved.
Urinals are incredibly efficient, it you have the equipment to use them.

Also a quick Google reveals "lavatory" comes from the Latin "lavatorium" which is a place for washing

Places not having enough loos annoys me beyond reason. I think I've already moaned on he about our 4 cubicles and no urinals on an office floor of a couple of hundred people.

Hence the invention of the shewee https://www.shewee.com/The fact that pistonheads' forums change to the mobile format and layout when your computer browser window is not maximised or taking up anything less than probably 75% of the screen, annoys me beyond reason, because the mobile version of the my stuff page is terrible.
There is no option to force the website to maintain the desktop format regardless of size of browser window.

No they are not. I did not get an opportunity to vote so the position does not lead where I am from (Australia btw)
Particularly the current president who has the leadership skills of a squid.
Is Australia part of 'the free world'? I thought it was the world's one, big, open-air prison? No they are not. I did not get an opportunity to vote so the position does not lead where I am from (Australia btw)
