On the subject of car lights - DLRs annoy me beyond reason when the rear lights don't come on. I've lost count of the number of cars with blinding LEDs at the front and complete darkness at the back.
Lots of cars you can change/code to the 'Scandinavian mode' so the rear lights are on with the DLRs - that is what I did.DavieW said:

Why pay 10 extra for a word when we all know the currency in our country, England.
England isn't a currency. Or "our" country either for a lot of folk.Edited by DavieW on Wednesday 25th November 21:51
Another great search that's neither use nor ornament - moving on from how rubbish the Amazon search and sort is, I've just been reminder how it's almost impossible to find stuff on eBay as well. Looking for parts for my current project, I searched on "viva estate". I've now scrolled through three pages of seat belts and seven pages (so far, I've given up now) of spark plugs. Why do companies feel the need to to what seems to be separate listings for every spark plug, seat belt, windscreen wiper that they have on the shelf?
The fact that nobody 'cleans up' after themselves on the internet.
You can Google local car shows for instance and find one reasonably nearby.
When you check the date it doesn't seem to tie up with the day of the week.
Then you realise it was 2 or 3 years ago.
Why don't they take the posting down?

eBay/Facebook adverts - Morons who don't put the size of something in the description, so you have to go on to the advert to then find out it would fit Richard Osman or Warwick Davies.
They don't even put the dimensions of furniture in the descriptions sometimes. Or electrical items described as untested. Well plug it in and see if it works or just say outright if it doesn't. General George Smiley said:
Why not just say you would like a bit of peace and quiet during your break rather than moan on a car forum?
Because that will shut them up for all of 0.03 seconds.I know the kind of tosser Gazza is talking about. They see nothing wrong with their behaviour and have no self awareness what so ever.
Gazza will be made out to be the bad guy.
