To be fair i think he's on to something, anyone over the age of 10 should be forced to wear a top hat, carry a cane and wear tails daily. No exceptions
You left out the spats and monocle. Oh and be forced to change their names legally
Men will have to be called Tarquin, Cecil or Cedric, no other options.
Women will hav to be called, Agatha, Persephone, or Mildred, no other options.
And a jolly good thrashing once a month by the Moral Objections Squad should sort out this protest malarkey, again no exceptions.

Karen Carpenter was the greatest female vocalist of all time. And by a considerable margin. There are and have been many other very good ones, but if KC was a 10, the best of the rest was a 7.5 at the most.

That opinion is not unpopular with me. In fact I think you've rather underrated her.TwigtheWonderkid said:

I would certainly agree that she was a great singer. She had about an octave where her voice just resonated beautifully, and her arrangers certainly made the most of that. However, Ella Fitzgerald was by far the better singer. Sorry.

Sorry for being wrong, I think you mean. However, Ella Fitzgerald was by far the better singer. Sorry.
And Richard was virtually her only arranger.
Was reading on here that Evoque phev is £430 a month. And that is base spec.
A base spec Evoque, for £430 a month + upfront costs nd so on comes to £16k for 3 years.
Crazy
People should pay a bit more and get a sport if they want a rangerover, or if want electric, get something else.
Its a jumped up car with a small boot. Remove the rangerover badge and then try asking £430pm for it!!

Indeed. After thinking about it for a while, and there are tons of great female singers, Dusty, Patsy Cline, Doris Day, Garland,
but for effortless diction, phrasing, pitch and a welcome lack of excess vibrato [ sorry Ella ] Karen gets my vote.
She much preferred to be the drummer, so she was a great singer while not even trying that hard.

You know the discovery sport isn’t a range rover right? The equivalent would be the Velar. A base spec Evoque, for £430 a month + upfront costs nd so on comes to £16k for 3 years.

My wife has an Evoque, it’s a perfectly nice car and suits her needs just fine. Her main reason for getting one was because she liked it, that’s pretty much as far as it went.
After buying we went on the Land Rover off-road day and the Evoque proved to be surprisingly capable, certainly more capable than I though before getting to try it out. Even the instructor admitted that they were initially shocked at what it would do.
Essentially this boils down to people having different needs, wants and car buying criteria.
If someone can easily afford £16k for trouble free motoring what’s it got to do with you?

Some people are renting things for closer to £1k a month, still nothing to do with me!
I was pointing out that where you see a ‘jumped up’ car others see something that they want.
I see a lot of Nissan Jukes about, I’ve driven one and really can’t understand the appeal!
