That's fair enough particularly as straight people and meat eaters have been discriminated against for centuries.
Wait, you haven’t mentioned your religion. That’s a good one to get the head bangers going.

For proper in depth discrimination enquiring minds want to know.

But I can agree if not pushed into a reflex reaction. There’s nothing wrong with being a straight meat eater, balance your argument. 100% agreed that meat eating heterosexuals are the least discriminated group on the planet but the reaction should not be encouraging discrimination. You win friends, blah, it’s too early on the sabbath wink.

Isn’t it ridiculous you have to defend calling it out for what it is.

The act of being gay, transgender, drag queen, vegan etc is not deviant but grinding someone’s arse in a sexual nature in front of kids is.
It wasn't that type of grinding... (Angle grinder...)

Sounds like what passes for family entertainment on the BBC nowadays.

My unpopular opinion is that I'm sick of minorities dictating to everyone else what they should be saying and doing. fk that.
Could you name just one thing that you're being forced to do as a result of dictating minorities?
Anything from Walt Disney, every film is an opportunity to preach and showcase diversity. Most childrens movies. Black washing of history. Royal Air Force recently told to stop discrimination against white men! Positive discrimination now illegal in the States, took the supreme judges to rule in it. All for favour of minorities.

Transgenders in women's sports, in women's prisons. Kids at school identifying as dogs etc...

Women's football, apparently we've all got to buy tickets.

Footballers kneeling, BLM riots, naked old gay men walking through city centres at pride marches! Lovely family day out that.

Children's books with LGBTQ+ issues and critical race theory being taught in schools. Or being said they can't teach it in schools. Why is it even a discussion topic.

Statues torn down, racism at every opportunity. White privilege.

Have I missed anything?

I'd argue with you but there's a woman at the door with a gun, demanding I buy tickets for Gosport Borough away.

When they tried to make me buy tickets to the Women’s Football I withdrew all my money from the bank and set light to it. That’ll learn ‘em.

I had the misfortune of catching a small pride celebration at my local park this morning which seemed to involve a transvestite playing a saxophone while the rent a mob that arrive on a rainbow bus dance around.

Nobody else took any notice of what they were doing.

Call my cynical but it I was gay having to witness these events would be enough to turn me straight.
When I went past, said individual was playing a cornet. Must have had a sax change...

Erm... what if you are both correct.

Ultimately there are two ways basic to arrest illegal immigration,
1. Make it legal, make it easy to get a visa, then we can set terms for entry, work type et al. track them, collect taxes and if they break laws, kick them out.
2. Punish the people who employ them. This is the way that we tend to do it in the UK but the UK does not have a large land border with a developing nation. In somewhere like the US, they don't do this mainly because it means punishing white male business owners.

These two steps working together are even better, I don't see why they should be mutually exclusive.

What we should not be doing is wasting billions on locking them up in hotels, floating hotels, island prisons or trying to send them off to 3rd world countries who will just get rid of them after we stop paying (likely, before we stop paying them). Asylum seeker should only be a temporary status for a short time, process the application, follow the rules and regulations so we can quickly determine if an application is genuine, if so grant asylum, if not deport to their country of origin.

If anything, we should be building kind of halfway villages where asylum seekers can learn/improve their English, learn about and adjust to our culture and customs. do jobs for actual money and have interactions with normal British people in order to prove they genuinely want to join our society.

But I suspect this is all far too logical and reasonable, thus will be shouted down.
Not at all and I have been thinking along similar lines. The reality of it happening are zero though as a) a vocal Brexit minority would be well organised in shouting this down versus a shambolic government attempt to ‘sell’ the benefits and b) not all illegals play ball and we don’t have anything like the resources to track the disappeared.

Employers are moaning they cannot find workers.
If you pay into the system we will consider your application after a period of say 5 years, if you refuse to work your application will not be considered.
Genius.
I suspect this would be very popular with most illegal migrants too. Chatting to a family in my local park being put up nearby, they were saying they're bored stless.

Good comment for this thread though. Imagine the cries of look at these feckless scrounging immigrants who struggle with English taking our jobs.

I think any asylum seeking immigrant who wants a job should be given one. Immediately upon them picking up their first pay packet UK Border Agency staff should deport the person who has been on benefits in the town where the job is the longest to Rwanda. When in Rwanda they can make their legal application to return. If they cite “Rights to family life” we should deport their partners then their kids.

I have had this idea about 10 years ago. An exchange system where we actually give the benefits scrounger a one-off payment to go somewhere else in the EU in exchange for a hard working EU citizen coming here.

Sadly not possible anymore for obvious reasons. blabla

But I like your version.

Well, we must try better to entertain them, maybe a trip to the theatre perhaps Cats, Evita,
I hear The Winslow Boy is rather good, Ian Lavender is great as Mr. Winslow, or a trip to
the Lake District ?

Surely these criminals are better off in a nice English hotel than in a French internment camp or
a mud hut in Somalia ?
