A bit like when someone says something "tastes like s***"."What, you've actually tasted s*** before?!" etc.
"You eat pieces of st for breakfast?"

Wasn’t part of the picture at school (public boarding), living in Somerset (no decent local team) and my father doesn’t really follow sport. So no exposure to it have me no love for it.
I was rubbish at football as a kid - I was unfit, didn't know any of the rules (teaching us the rules didn't seem to be part of it), never got picked for a side, so now I hate it. Yes, it's been 40+ years. No, I'm not over it.A year later at Secondary school, the PE teacher asked who had been in thier team at junior school. Right. Attend trials on Friday After school.
I lied, turned up and then one lad, Just before we were due to go out and play, told the PE teacher, and I wasn't allowed to play. And given a detention for lying.
That kid went on to bully me mercilessly for a couple of years, until I sat on his head playing rugby.
When 35 years later I heard he'd committed suicide, I struggled to withhold a smile.
I'm over it now. Honest.

I had my bike mugged from me at 17 by a kid I knew at primary school.I'm over it now. Honest.
When I saw him passed out on spice or drunk in a shop doorway at lunchtime one day in town I too smiled to myself.
That’s probably the most unpopular opinion you can have, to think ill if the dead.
Yes he’s some mother’s son etc etc..
But if you act like an unpleasant scrote don’t be surprised if people’s struggle to mourn your passing.
My guy died a few years ago. Saves the country some money.

I do agree. As I walk round them, I do think they are quite smart. Then I get to the back.
The asymmetric rear end REALLY does my head in (and yes, I understand why they tried to ape the previous model). It just doesn't look right.
Someone has come up with an aftermarket fix:
It can also look a bit too slab sided from the rear three quarter:
but I think that's an issue on the lighter colours.

Doesn't the Disco Sport fix this problem though? I've never understood why they have different boots but I agree the normal Diso one is very annoying being asymmetrical. Then I get to the back.

Fast forward 10-15 years to see him out his tits in a doorway in Glasgow. He calls me by name asking for ‘any spare change’ .
Rightly or wrongly, told him where to get off and proceeded on my way.
What goes around and all that. No idea if he’s still on this Earth. Hated my schooldays so don’t much care to be honest. Those that mattered I am still in contact with.

Anyone who drives a pickup truck for any reason other than agricultural or commercial you look like a knob (my mates just got one, works in IT, looks like a knob driving it)
also
Matte wraps/paint on cars always looks crap
There were some distinct advantages to having a double cab pickup for a company car instead of an SUV (especially if it can carry over a tonne). But yeah the above applies also
