I suspect your better half is posting on Mumsnet right now to say "Can you believe my other half chose his car because it can do 157mph with 350 bhp rather than one that can only do 145mph with 320 bhp. WTF is that all about!" rofl
Nah, she’s a fast learner, she wouldn’t drive anything with less than 300bhp herself these days hehe

Prize money for sports competitions should be set by what the market and the organisers feel is appropriate. There is no automatic reason why the prizes for men/womens/disbaled athletes have to be equal in value.

not exactly an unpopular opinion if you're sane. Similar seems to operate with little or no controversy in modelling...

It's insane to expect the winners of the men and
womens high jump to be awarded the same prize money ?

Show us your working.

I've never been into athletics but it seems the type of sport people for a long time have been happy and just as interested to watch men and women competing.
How much more packed are the stadiums watching a men's high jump competition compared to the women's?

You might have a point, but competition organisers
do pay famous field sport athletes appearance money,
not prize money but moolah nonetheless.

You’ll need to be more specific there, I’m struggling to see that one.

Plastic trim also available in extra brittle "genuine carbon fiber" says this trim piece could have been paint or veneer or completely removed if you really wanted to reduce the weight.

Yuk, can't stand women with 6 packs. Unless it's around 5%ABV and Belgian.

I don't mind painted calipers, but how long will they continue to impress once the ravages of time, heat and road salt take a toll ?

You mean there are people who are impressed by painted brake calipers?

You would not believe the amount of bks caliper manufacturers have to go through to make sure the paint survives all the st/heat/abuse they get. Literally baked for hundreds of hours and fully submerged in salt tanks for weeks if not months.

Most cars I’ve owned they end up looking better than the bodywork after 100,000 miles.

Worst you’re likely to see on most modern cars is a red caliper going a bit brown after a dozen or so track days
