It's okay, don't worry, Bobbers.
We've just been commenting on why the Rioja Focus is full of eels...

The old(old) Focus is ok thanks magoo, just a flat battery due to VERY short journeys and Mrs Bobbers insisting on having every sodding electrical thing turned on , but it started fine and got her to and from work today, I'm taking it tomorrow to give it a decent run, she was rather too pleased to be taking my car tomorrow!!! grumpy

So her cunning plan is working? biggrin

Never ever misunderestimate the resourcefulness of a wily woman. nono

ION, I have booked the C-Ma_ into Andy & Steve's garage on Monday to have both front dampers replaced. The existing ones have become far too bouncy on those bloody speedbumps and undulating roads, and allow far too much roll under yaw.

I could do the job myself, but with my poor old decrepit aging knees giving me some gyp at present, and the current inclement weather exacerbating matters, I thought it prudent to second the job to my two trusted technicians instead of putting extra pressure on the NHS.

If that sounds like an admission that old age is catching up with me, then you are spot on!

We've been having a lot of packages delivered of late what with Christmas coming up and the ongoing DIY malarkey, most of them brought to us by eastern Europeans, all of them very nice people, well Mrs.P5B and I have both clocked that one of them could well be a villain from a dodgy Liam Neeson film. He's about 6'5'', has some small scars on his face, is very charismatic with perfect manners, is always immaculately dressed in black from head to toe, has beautifully spoken English and always chats about the weather, the car on our drive, what a nice area we live in is etc, then, just before he says, ''thankyou, goodbye'' he pauses and gives a look that says quietly ''I kill you...'' then walks away. As juvenile as it sounds he has us in stitches every time...! shoot

Rubbish? You have no idea. We splashed out on some Imperial Leather Cherry Blossom scented hand wash. I'm going to take it back. It doesn't smell the least bit like boot polish. It's rubbish.

Not yet, but thanks for the tip. We had some budget boot polish once and really that did smell like Nigel Lawson.
