Anyhow, I'm sitting down now having a proper look at the recent goings-on.

I notice, Peri, that your post count has crept past the 40k mark without so much as a mention.

How did you manage that without buying the obligatory round in the Residents' Lounge?

Crafty old sod grumpy
Yes, Peri has achieved over forty fousand PH posts, that's a higher count than the number of fevvers on a frush. bow

He could at least have dispensed a few free "Nom!"s to the wregglars.
irked

Anyway, who finished that case of Absinthe? I just went to get a bottle for breakfast, and there's none left. frown

I'll just have to make do with the Nigerian Armacnag. rolleyes

Whatever you do don't spill any on your furniture!!!! I managed to slop some on the carpet in the residents lounge the other night and it burned a hole right through it, and the underlay, and started on the floor boards, luckily Sir Reginald-de-Spumfry lit the vapours with his cigar which burnt off the alcohol, and his eyebrows but that's what you get for getting too close!!!!

My motorbike has just been brought back and the good news is that it has passed the MOT test.
Trivial, but it has made me happy smile

What is it? Why are you selling it?

VFR800 which I have owned for 16 years. It has been in the garage for the past 6 years though as I have been unable to ride it.
A friend had his bike stolen recently and asked me if I wanted to sell my VFR, so I decided to let it go.
Lots of memories from European road trips so I don’t really want to sell it but I can’t see any way I will be able to ride a bike in the foreseeable future.
Leaving it in the garage for another 6 years will not do it any good, so better to let it be of use to someone who wants it.

Fair enough, as you say at least it's going to someone who wants to use it!!!

It's ok Bobberoo as I've made my own in anticipation. It has lots and lots of room for all my future medals.

Scrump that's a nice looking bike you have there. Such a shame you're unable to use it,what with all the good memories etc.

ION. The house Behind mine is a Brit owned holiday home. The owners are nice people and they are here now and so are the world and his wife today.

I'm in hiding as they Allways need something or want help in understanding something French etc.

What have you been doing today in Salcombe, Dicky?

Building sandcastles in the rain. This is a popular seaside resort in the same July as the hottest day ever recorded in England.

Note the faithful representation of Trivial Towers in sand.

Could you put a chicken wire fence around your property and hang a few of these on it?

It might help a bit.

Good afternoon, gentlemen.
How are you all?

And what's happened with the decor in here?

Reminded me a bit of this:

I'm afraid I can't fit 'sandcastles in the rain' in with the lyrics though, it just doesn't work grumpy

One of the reasons I'm not a musician I suppose. Never mind, I'll stick to buggering about in the hangar.

Good afternoon to you good sir, fine and dandy thank you. Hope you are well too.

If you're referring to the mess in the hangar, my apologies. We've had a few 'issues' in there this morning, once Battert's finished the whitewashing the scaffolding can come down.
