Next week I'm going to change the front wing over on the Focus, change the aux belt on it and see if I can figure out which pulley is squealing...
Bobbers, that's almost certainly the tensioner pulley getting ready to seize. I recommend that you fit a new tensioner assembly as well as the aux drive belt.
Trust me, I know.
But do also check that the water pump pulley is free.
Thanks chaps, the water pump, tensioner and cambelt were changed at 10 years old and 980000 miles, it's a 56 plate on 125000 now, the aux belt tensioner, alternator extension pulley and an idler were changed last year and the squeal went away for a bit but is back again, but when I checked the belt last week there were signs of damage on the back of the belt, I'll get it up on axle stands next week and have a good root around!!!!
ION I picked up my new Lego set on the way home, gratuitous pic just to wind scrump up!!!!

Mr roo I have a focus great little cars.
They are quite poplar with tree-dwelling PHers. Also good for privet hire. available in plane colours or brighter ones if yew like.
Ideal for driving Aunt Maple down to the beech. I have a Focus C-Max, and it's oaky-dokey, it responds well to inputs from the 'elm but I could easily get sycamore puns.

Best Italian telly import by far has to be 'Inspector Montalbano', the backdrop to almost every scene is beautiful, as are many of the femem fatales. Our hero pootles around in an old Fiat but the squad cars are mostly Alfa 159s.
Go on, you know you want too...
Can't disagree with that ,gritty ,slightly dark crimes ,beautiful women who may or may not be part of the plot ,comedyGo on, you know you want too...
with the bumbling Catarella character and Salvo taking the P out of deputy Mimi ,the beach view at his home and an old Tipo.
What else is worth watching when that is on ?

This is one my favourite pics of the year.
FIAT 128 in full controlled cornering slide.
And one for P5B
This Mini was properly squirrelly through this corner ,heading right for me at this point....
Lovely stuff.... looks like a '64 to '67 Mk1 Morris Cooper S so could be a 970, 1071 or 1275, take your pick!FIAT 128 in full controlled cornering slide.

Mrs.P5B bought me the Montalbano boxset last Christmas, I've already seen the whole lot when they were first shown on BBC4 but I could watch them over and over again. Tis a proper treat. The 'Young Montalbano' mini series was pretty good too, it was set in the '90s. They should do one set in the '70s with Alfasuds, FIAT 124s, big leather jackets and droopy 'taches next
A friend of mine had one of those Renault GT turbos, about 1989 / 1990 it would have been. Quite anonymous at the time, hellfire it got down the road quickly though. Astonishing little thing.
We've had some of those big tiger prawns for lunch with some salad. It's just dawned upon me that we may have eaten a prawn cocktail, should I hand myself into the Council thread?
Don't know much about these things, we may have transgressed the unwritten law though.

I told you I had to resist your Lego RSR temptation because I keep opening my wallet after reading your under £200 watch thread. I post a picture of 2 TW Steels and your response is a picture of 2 RSRs.
You are a tease, but I like your style: stereo Lego technic.
Hi Pushfit
Sorry scrump what can I say, I'm an awful tease and a bad influence!!!! When you see that pop up for £65 it's really silly to let it pass, I bought one and a good friend at work one for his nephew for Christmas, I just picked them both up!!!
I knew I was tired today so headed off for a kip at 1400hrs, Mrs Bobbers left me until tea was nearly ready at 1730!!!!!
Some brilliant pics there Peri, I bet it was great actually being there, and top drawer knowledge too P5B!!!!
Right I'm going to! try and finish this behemoth Lego truck!!!!
