Are you that bloke looking at his phone at the theatre?
Yeah but, no but, I was at the theatre bar waiting to be served.

Fifteen quid for a plastic beaker of inexplicable wine and a pound a minute to wait. Twenty five quid well spent, I'd say. We should support the arts.

I'd drink to that if I could afford it! And if it wasn't for the British press, I probably could/would/should.

Meanwhile I'm just glad that I'm not ginger, even if I may come to regret it later.

This year's grape harvest from my son's vine is looking rather bleak.
The Pinot Noir are lacking plumptiousness of body and a meagre dangliness of weighty trusses.

Is sad. frown
Hardly worth removing my wellies.

Have you addressed the stamina issue?

One doesn't like to disappoint.

Picture the most beautiful car of all time - the Bugatti 35 - and you will observe it is right hand drive.

In The Grand Scheme all the finest cars would be right hand drive.

It stands to reason.

Stamina? I can do wet and windy with strong southerly gusts for days on end.
That should hold her attention. bowtie
Weather that is enough to enthrall her, I don't know?
Perhaps she might like to see my meteorological equipment?
I have a fine weather cock and a nautical brumometer.

Anyway, they told me that they couldn't fit me with a Pacemaker because it wouldn't be able to keep up with me.

I just had a look, but it's too dark to see properly.
When I looked at it yesterday, it was very hazy, but that may have been due to the beer.

I think it may be what they call a protein haze.
A further racking off and some finings needed.
Just a wee pinch.

nerd AFAIK, that lovely red Mazda is a Japanese car, and in Japan they drive on the correct side of the road.
The only LH drive ones they made were for export to countries where they brake with the left foot. smile

Having flown to Brazil and back many times, the timescale you suggest is frankly just a bit out.rolleyes
LHR to GRU, 11 hours plus
A two hour Turnaround
GRU to LHR (Depending on tail winds), 9 to ten hours.
Total travelling time approx 23 hours. Almost a day! yikes
At 17.5 hours one would have to have an emergency medical stop in the Azores. (Which I also have done).
There is an awful lot of coffee in Brazil, but it's rubbish. All the good stuff gets exported.coffee
GRU?
scratchchin Which one?

Do you think it's about time we got some new curtains?
And took off all the woodchip wallpaper and put up something more... err... floral?
How about going mad and having some patio doors installed?

scratchchin

On second thoughts, why don't we get a nice sheet of steel to plonk on the dining table so we have a nice worktop to strip down this big V8?
And we could have a wall rack for all the hand tools and a compressor over there in the corner for the power tools and spray gun.
