It's been a busy and frustrating morning here at weareabunchofarses.com, I'm being manouvered into a role I don't want, I'm resisting and have been told it's not even a recognised role, we'll see how it plays out............

ION we have Cadburys brunch bars for our snack bars this week, haven't had them for ages and they really quite nice!!!

Morning all,

Sorry for my absense yesterday.....meetings most of the day (dontcha just love elf and safety) and then trying to catch up with the proper work... furious

Is it too early in the week for a bacon sandwich, trying to be good and only had porridge and a banana this morning and I'm still hank marving..... frown

in other news I can hear a strange beeping and can't track down where its coming from...three beeps...pause....two beeps...then repeat after about 5 seconds...it's driving me bonkers.....

off to try and find it with my fixing hammer....

Do you think it's about time we got some new curtains?
And took off all the woodchip wallpaper and put up something more... err... floral?
How about going mad and having some patio doors installed?

On second thoughts, why don't we get a nice sheet of steel to plonk on the dining table so we have a nice worktop to strip down this big V8?
And we could have a wall rack for all the hand tools and a compressor over there in the corner for the power tools and spray gun.

Not something easily fixed - well it is but only one way to fix it sadly

Oddly enough I've been thinking about doing a similar thing here. I've worked out how everything would fit in, as far as I'm aware only a couple of drawbacks:

1. It will necessitate the re-arrangement of furniture and the disposal of some items including a large part of the corner sofa.

2. It's not my place, it's Futtette's.

I'll give it a bit more thought and see how it goes.

be careful doing that to the Futette's gaff, otherwise she may well re-arrange or dispose of some of your furniture ! yikes

As luck would have it I've had my man Gervais on speed dial for just such an opportunity, he's panting at the leash to get stuck into the revamp of Trivton Towers and seems to think we should be a bit more 'with it' and give in to our inner Milk Tray Man(tm), here are some of his, er, ideas...

Shall I despatch Battert in the Citroen SM to pick him up, or just let him get the bus in...?

Nope, I can't really see any of Gervais' proposals working very well.
I mean, where would you strip down the big V8?
I'm not averse to the recumbent wenches, but where is the storage rack for torque wrenches?
And I can't see any provision for draining the sump oil.

He'll have to come up with some better ideas than those.

I do rather like that magenta and puce colour scheme though.

I got fly tipped on.....furious

2pm ,look out window ,scruffy Transit Luton parked outside next door ,shutter not closed ,tail lift holding the crap inside.

I thought the whole thing might have been dumped.

Hear some noise ,I peer through the frosted glass of the front door ,I can make out 2 persons in obligatory "I'm wearing hi viz

so I'm official" .

Minutes later ,van gone but leaning against my front wall is one side of a childs Wendy house ,the one's big enough

to play inside of.

Dumped in broad daylight.

I immediately move it to next to the nearest waste bin where the council will remove it from.

It could also have been a "burgle this house later" marker.

Should have gone outside to note the reg and the council and police would have had it by now.

If I see it again ,it has a distinctive small hole in the NS side panel ,the reg will still be going to the authorities and they can put a marker on it.

Hopefully !

As I'm not distressed enough already.....frown

That sounds rubbish Peri, there's some proper wronguns out there!!! frown

Since arriving home I've been a busy boy, I've replaced the cold water insert in our bathroom basin, mowed the lawn and put the patio furniture away and increased the power of my new(old) car by at least 3bhp!!!!

Well thats my toad in the hole holed. Madam M is in the arms of her large Norfolk family.

I'm drinking a Ventoux rose' it's not my normal tipple but nice enough when proper cold.

Mavis has eaten! That's very important when mummy is away. Mavis knows her way now to that Limoges airport and she don't like it.
Her reward was a walk in a very old Forrest on the way home, you could smell the pungent mushroom spores as we walked. My cup of tea, sure, but not everyone's I realise.

I have joined the Facebook group called" MazdaMX-5/Miata 10th anniversary edition global group"
It puts fccuk to anorak shame from what I've seen. But it turns out my one is a late one being number 7310 out of 7500.
