Morning all. wavey

The snow was settling on the ground and drifting at Flash on the A53 north of Leek yesterday. A bit blizzardy. BRRRRRRRrrrrrr!!!

I wasn't driving there, I saw it on the weathercam:

The snow was settling on the ground and drifting at...

Flash!

Ah-ah!

Saviour of the Universe!

"Flash! I love you, but we only have fourteen hours to save the World!"

…..

"I am Ming the Merciless, Emperor of the Universe."
"Hi. I'm Flash Gordon, Quarter Back with the New York Jets."

…..

"Dispatch War Rocket Trevor to bring back his body."
"Robbo's alive?"

…..

Ah, they don't make 'em like that any more.

Back from oop north. I could wax lyrical like, about the and the and not forgetting the, but to be brutally honest I’m going for cheap laughs and apart from the irony of all six of us having back problems (and the meetings were at hospitals) there weren’t any.

We detected a mouse in the kitchen a month ago.
A trap was set.
One mouse per day for the first three days.
So six traps purchased and put in two attics....
We’re 25 mice up so far with no sign of it letting up.

I googled it. Two mice can breed to an astonishing 10,000 plus in a year.

So there’s no hope with seven traps I’m going to burn them out instead. Four gallons of petrol and a match will be so much quicker.

They aren’t that sort of hospital any more, I’ve moved on from secure ones to general ones so it’s MRI and Ultrasound installations rather than Secure Rooms and 7m fences.

The dilapidated workshop left by the previous owners of the house leaked badly so I didn't use it but plotted new sheds in the house. On one occasion I left bowls and tins to catch drips. Next time I went it whiffed badly. Several mice had fallen into the bowls of water and had drowned. Made me sad thinking of them swimming until exhausted.

frown

It speeded up the arrival of the new shed no end.

Brilliant stuff, Dicky!

I can't wait for the next thrilling episode to see if Robbo survives, and if Flash* pulls it off! bouncewoohoo

* Ah-aah!

You could go a long way as a gifted writer of thrilling all-action comic science fiction ripping yarns...

In fact some say you should. irked

** Yes, when they created the Robbo®©, they broke the mould.
Unfortunately just halfway though the pouring.
That's why he is such a horribly disfigured half-cast with a lot of flash that should have been ground off, if only they could keep him still for long enough.

ION, Who is going to the cinema to see the new film release:
Le Mans '66 starring Matt Damon-Hill and Christian Horner-Bale?

An epic tale of a Giant Corporation battling for supremacy against a small Italian bespoke concern.

I can't wait to see who wins in the end...

They don't suffer as the traps snap their necks so its lights out in a millisecond. They even get a burial at w sea.

We didn't date something that you didn't know about so its invalid, and so the thing you had no idea had happened has been reversed so its as though it didn't happen...

scratchchin I think he is revenge stalking me. yikes

I never got the chance to share a few pints of Absinthe and say "Don't worry Buddy, I've got your back" or anything. frown

At least he chose a decent spell weather-wise.

She has probably already been head-hunted by a certain aircraft component manufacturing company dahn sarf.

There was a young girl down our street who used to play with our kids.
They called her "Commander".
When she told them that her name was actually "Amanda" , they corrected themselves.

Henceforth she became "The Mander". smile
