Morning all. I'm still not happy with this new toaster business, I'm going to have another go with it though.

We'll see what happens.

Morning all. wavey

I'm off today.

Well, something smells a bit off, anyway.
Did you perform the wood check this morning?
Yes, Bobbers, directly after the elbow test.

First there was no wood.
Then there was wood.

But it's not much use these days.
I fear my clam-spearing days are over. weeping

It's these knees, you see. frown

Right then, back to the toaster business. The long and short of it is there's a button on it marked "REHEAT"
Now, I've made several slices of toast, allowed them to cool, popped them back in and deployed the reheat setting. Nothing much has happened other than they've popped out again just about warm.
It's really quite disappointing, that's not reheat at all.

That's bloody reheat...

I was not there. It wasn't me....

Anyone remember watching it all unfold on live TV...? Recall it as though it were yesterday but it'll be forty years ago next year!

ION, just off to pick up a new telly, it's got BBC2 and everything, but no reheat or toast making facilities.

BBC 2?

What do you mean, BBC 2?

Is this some rival counterfeit effort to displace dear old Auntie?

As I'm usually up and about before Mrs C, I watch TV with the sound down and the subtitles on. Some of the subtitles are hilarious. This morning this came up:

"...the chocolate comes from round trees in Norwich..."
