My friend has been away at Minehead Butlins to the Cream Weekender, he's been sending me video clips of some of my favourite DJ's, it's at this point I could say "Oh to be young and fit enough to do something like that again!!", but he's 57, eight years older than me................

Cream weekend?
Young bloody whippersnappers!
Not a patch on our Mazola and Visqueen parties, they are proper fun!
Well, more improper I suppose, but at least nobody gets hurt.
Unless they slip and break their hip.
Morning all!

All this talk of DJ’s - the smell of mothballs, the invite from the last shindig still in the pocket along with a champagne cork and an article of lingerie. Marvellous.
In my cold and eye infection riddled state, i was listening to Metallica on that there youtube last night, specifically a live version of Fade to Black from a festival in the good ol US of A.
Part way through the song, the singer James Hetfield asks the crowd if they are alive and how does it feel to be alive. Now the festival is called Boneroo but i swear blind he shouted out
Bobberoo......are you alive???
Bobberoo....how does it feel to be alive???
And i thought to myself, you’ll have to shout a bit louder than that, Trivton Magna is a fair old ways from the US
