Purple avocado?
Is that the on-line estate agency that delivers grocery?
In Burnley they are still "verting" despite the chilli weather.
I had a long and arduous journey through the wind and freezing rain to get to our local polling station.
It's all the way down at the school at the entrance to our avenue.
When I went to cast my vote I found the doors were locked. A load of people were waiting outside in the freezing rain to be let in.
I said "It's just as well it's summer!"
Apparently the woman on the doors had helped a lady in a wheelchair and the school doors had latched shut behind her.
Nobody had given her the entry code.
She didn't even have a coat on.
The clerks inside the school hall never heard all the knocking on the outside doors.
Until I had a go!

I beg your pardon. Aubergine avocado. Today's DIY malarkey has been skillfully avoided by ferrying neighbours to the polling station. And back. Which is nice

Wall ,it's going to be AWESOME !I have a piece of scrap ply 4' x 2' which will be fully covered .
My feet are cold ,I need to exercise them but that'll mean they will get wet instead ,shoes not water tight.
