For some context, Westminster Rd. is a small industrial site that consists of just the one road and at one end is the local recycling centre. Not so long ago there was a massive police raid on one of the units where they found a large cannabis factory, and a few arrests were made. As they were clearing the unit, the smell around the area was intense, with some people saying they were getting high.

Bit weird this evening. Dead cat up someones driveway, outside the front of the house. Someone has taken a photo over the hedge, of both dead cat and house, asking whose house this is as you have a dead cat outside. You know, in case they don't notice.
Similar one hereSomeone found a drivers licence
Any one no xyz
Lots of tagging various people in
Others asking where it was found
Someone says there’s an address on all licenses- this triggered an aggressive response from the chav side of the village
The mind boggles how they all get through life

"Elvis Martini" Great name!!On my village site tonight
Just seen two youths walk past my house. Can someone come and have a look?
Yep, I’ll finish my food, get dressed properly, turn ant and dec off: put all my snow gear on ( it’s an utter blizzard here) and head to a random part of the village with a non specific address to look for youths.
There’s a good number of people saying “ really ? “

If someone does go and have look, there will probably be a follow up post reporting more people hanging around their house.
I'm thinking-"Can anyone help? My mate and I were walking back from working at the old folks home when a pick up with two burly blokes kept driving past."
These tragic messages with totally inappropriate cheerful backgrounds never fail to crack me up. Even better when they’re badly written which happens a lot
There was one on a here a few days ago asking if anyone had been found dead in town (with a pic of a smiley woman holding a birthday cake) and now this dead swan one complete with cheesy grin and a double thumbs up. Love it!

Ah, the good old Manningtree Shout Out group which has spawned at least three others after fallings out amongst the members about what can be said or posted. From what I recall there is now Manningtree Shout Out Uncut, Manningtree Shout Out After Dark plus some others along a similar vein.Seems that with these groups is that if you don’t like the moderation style or the admins you just start up another similar to bh at the other ones!
The local groups down my way frequently have posts asking about named individuals the poster wants to get in touch with. There may be perfectly innocent reasons for wanting to catch up with old school friends and so on, but the eagerness with which people flock in to help always astonishes me.
We have no idea why the poster wants to contact somebody, and equally not a clue as to whether the person being sought would rather remain unidentified. The opportunities for this to end in malice are many.
Why do people not see that giving somebody’s contact details, probably without consent, to a complete stranger on the internet is not a very good idea?

We had a sensible group, things like I’ve found a Labrador etc
Then a splinter group set up their own banter variant
Now it’s double the nonsense spread across two groups, people screenshot ting the first group onto the second
The banter group is mostly chav type stuff and people who like to wind others up
