Our group for the local new build estate as been up in arms recently. The upkeep was transferred to the management company (as was made clear when we purchased the property) and now everyone is getting bills from them, which includes copies of the accounts.
Everyone is complaining that the management company don't do enough, or they pay council tax so why should they pay this. Or that they weren't told about it. So half the people on there are saying not to pay. The icing on the cake is that the company accounts show they've incurred an overdraft fee last year. Everyone is also complaining about this as well, not seeing the irony that if no-one pays then of course they're going to go overdrawn

We had that for a few months, they don't seem to care so much now. The council here (just up the road from you IIRC) have gone from using a company that used to do a fairly decent job and collect the clippings to one that leaves foot high mohicans of grass between all of the clippings and then puts weed killer on the edges rather than strimming the longer grass.
Presumably it saves them lots of money.

Karen down the road was up in arms last week, because the grass along the verge in front of her house was cut? Apparently she was keeping it untidy for the Bees and bats? It’s just a small strip of grass, not a meadow ffs.
