The one that gets me is when people over here share lost dog posts from Delaware just in case it turns up near them in Scarborough....

If I see it, should I chase or shout at it?

Not clear from the notice....

A post appeared on our page asking if anyone else had had a typed letter through the door asking if they were considering selling their house?

Quite a common thing I’d have thought but there were dire warnings of people using this as a method of casing your house. Also someone’s mother got one of these and found it very upsetting rolleyes

It went quiet when I pointed out the page itself regularly gets requests from people asking if anyone is considering selling. And they are inevitably deluged with replies.

Wife has fb.

Few weeks ago some 20 something cycled past us yelling away at cars down middle of the road, forgot about it.

Following morning lots of reports of damage to sheds, car bonnets, fences etc

All the usual suspects were wanting blood over it, nan was well scared etc.

Then the oiks name got mentioned, some local oik who’d just come out of prison for some low level stuff.

All of a sudden, it was just a young man letting off steam, the fence is just a bit of wood etc, the cars were probably already damaged

Truly bizarre and somewhat scary that there’s a whole breed of these s who seem to breed at an impressive rate

There was another post recently where the spelling was absolutely appalling throughout, but they also got "fibromyalgia" spot-on. Is this the latest must-have "disease" for the dole-pole classes?

You are missing an opportunity. Cat missing in Wigan? Say you saw one very similar Bournemouth 3 weeks ago. A blurry photo of something that Could be a cat or a vauxhall Meriva would help.

When you get bombarded with them, every day, it's just easier to unfriend your sister biggrin

Our local FB page (well the next village along) is full of please be considerate when setting off fireworks as our puppy is scared.

Every day there is another similar post.

Makes me want to go and buy some bangers and I like dogs!

I mentioned it a few days ago, the Karens are frothing over it here.

We did also get the Serviceman PTSD excuse as well, as another poster predicted we would.

The thought process bewilders me. Do they honestly think the fireworks will stop because they put a post on a stupid FB page about their dog/cat being scared? Or is it literally just some false sympathy and a few likes they're after?

One of them has even bought a 'Thunder jacket' for her dog? The mind boggles.

I have a friend that shares missing anything. Usually from the USA. I did once ask if Colby from Texas was likely to be wandering around Bolton (name changed to protect the innocent) but didn't get a response.

Anyway, caravan update.
She's still there. Tide seems to be turning with locals becoming a lot more sympathetic to her plight. Someone posted yesterday that there was a smell in the area and it had coincided with her turning up. Must be her tipping her waste down the drain. Poster was pretty soundly told she was being ridiculous and that people were starting to blame caravan lady for everything.
She's now got a transit van she parks on the supermarket car park up the road. She dries her washing in the back of it. Not a life you'd choose I imagine.

Almost word for word what a conversation with my mum is like. She wonders why I'm never keen to go round and visit.

I believe it is very hard to diagnose, like a bad back, you just say it hurts and when throw a few other ailments that come with it and you have it.

A friend of the wife has it, she actually does have it, she still works full time, she has good and bad days but just gets on with it, she says that sitting at home feeling sorry for oneself, isn't the way to deal with it.

You should suggest a GoFundMe page, I don't think you'd need to raise anymore than around £3.50 to buy an eyemask and earplugs off eBay.
