Haven’t got much to add - but on the Sunday of the Bank Holiday I met 2 lovely lesbians (both previously married to men, both have kids) - roll forwards to last night and a bbq at mine followed by a very fun night. Hoping to repeat this weekend as they’re coming down for a weekend on the boat.

With regards to everything above I’ve found of you treat women with respect, show an interest in them and their hobbies, make some gentlemanly gestures and it all goes a long way.
Is lesbianism included as a hobby? biggrin

I really don't know what to make of you
You told us you had 'retired from the dating scene' or words to that effect because.....and there's no other way of saying this..... because you only had a year to live and wanted to spend it with your child and your family.
Yet here you are bragging about having a 3-some with 2 lesbians.

I've never seen two lovely lesbians together, one yes, a pair not a chance. 99 times out of a 100 at least one looks like a man and I think to myself, why bother.

... As for the incel comment above classic use of using insults over debating the point raised ironically that is exactly how women debate.
You just can't help yourself, can you? Generalising misogyny: 'that is how women debate...' Really? You need to look for the better ones if that's all you've experienced.
Misogyny is the hatred of women not much in the way of hatred in the comments you replied to, infact the comments were laying the door at men for the problems not women. Just shows you are only interested in the way people say things over what they actually mean.

2cv raised a lot of good points yet you replied using Insults.
I haven't insulted anyone, but on that note I'll leave you to it.

Why not post up some of your amusing dating tales?
i was fairly insulted actually, but yea its irrelevant to the debate. The reason i didn't take you on though is that you hadn't actually said anything to further the debate.

I didn't read him state that a threesome was had, simply that he met them. I can't see how this stops him seeing his family?

It doesn't obviously but if you look at what he said previously on this thread and the other one he started about his illness he clearly said he was done with dating, all his energy was going into sorting his affairs and spending his time with his loved ones......it is implied with the lesbians else there'd be no reason to mention it on a dating thread,a thread in which he has always been very prominent with his exploits

Petrus simply said he had a fun night. I’ve had many a fun night with a great friend of mine and her wife. Usually involving wine and whisky.

I do think we need a roll call of those that are actually dabbling with OLD at the moment, as it seems the vast majority of posters last gave it a try when dial up was all the rage!

As Petrus pointed out to me, who had fairly recent experience before I starting trying it again a few months ago, it is ever evolving, trying to apply old school courtship to the world of modern dating is way off the mark now.

Then add in the dynamics of far more girls from other cultures now in the pool in the UK, and soon the human race will probably soon die out. Lots of frustrated men, lots of disillusioned girls.

OLD is no way near a cross section of the singles out there, it is a heavy concentration of a minority type, all into one sector, giving a very skewed experience of being single and trying to find a partner these days, if that is your only real avenue at the moment.

I will start it off, I am Paul my last date was on Sunday just gone, been back on OLD since late Feb 22

Be interesting to see how many are actually going to admit when they last dated!

Hes the tinder swindler and just getting everything in order before the court case and subsequent lengthy jail time. Great cover story though to explain the disappearance

Is that where at the magic moment – you shout out the name of her sister?

No, you're thinking of the Rodeo position. At the point of no return you whisper to her 'this is how your sister likes it', then see how long you can hold on for.

You were mainly correct - a night of frolics where 3 adults were able to enjoy some wine and become less and less clothed as the night progressed and wake up without regrets this morning.

As for dating - still no dating and don’t even have any apps anymore. I did make it to Texas and spent an amazing week with my son for spring break back in March though.

Custard on the girls?? You dirty bd laugh or the boat?
