Pretty much my experience when I joined POF back in 2013 after my separation at 40. I assumed it was going to be hard work and only really joined as I was bored, but it was like shooting fish in a barrel. My first few dates were really awkward, but once I had a bit of confidence and got that first sex after separation out of the way it was easy.

As I said above, the more women you have on the go the more confidence you get and the easier it becomes. I used to arrange to meet them at a pub near them for a few drinks, and kept a bag of clothes and toiletries in the car. It was an 80/90% certainty I would be staying over at their place that night. Once you have a couple of these that you are casually dating/hooking up with you get a don't give a fk attitude and that is like catnip to a lot of women.

For all the white knights out there that have never even dabbled in OLD yet feel the need to defend every woman honour regardless, this is what we are often up against.

Saw a profile, and was about to say Hi until I read her bio, it was simply just:-
