Saturday Night - what do you do?
Discussion
I work away a lot, wife is home with kids, one new born, so usually WhatsApp her. I used to go to the bar with my work colleagues, but I just get into trouble so don't bother now.
When home, we usually try to get a night out, so book a hotel in a city and have a night out and get a babysitter.

What do you do if you see one?
What does one suspicious male make of another suspicious male in a car approaching them in the dead of night for a chat?
If my wife's at home, normally pub in the early evening with the dog. Home by 7, make dinner and drink far too much wine/gin/beer with some music on then either continue listening to some tunes, or watch a film before Match of the Day. Watch that then bed.
This week she isn't at home, so I imagine it'll be early evening beers watching the football, then a properly dirty takeaway with an incredibly large quantity of premium continental lager watching crap on TV. Maybe the odd specialist film too, who knows.
First thing you do you shout up over the open airways and give location and a description. If anyone else is nearby they'll circle/wander over. What does one suspicious male make of another suspicious male in a car approaching them in the dead of night for a chat?

Pull over, speak to them and ask them where they are going, where they live. Really just casual conversation. In Summer our job can be a little easier as someone carrying extra clothing (face concealment, gloves or hooded top) makes them stand out. Winter alittle harder.
9/10 they'll engage then you push further. If they then clam up it raises your suspicion levels.
In our area at night anyone walking round really stands out as it's rampant suburbs with little night life/bars/restaurants in large swathes.
Once I was in plain clothes looking for someone who had forced their way into someone's home trying to steal their car before legging it on foot.
I engaged him (I didn't reveal who I was immediately) . He ummed and arred and said he was out looking for sex.
I bid him good night and returned to my car!
