Interesting. Exactly how does the light stop you farting violently and loudly whilst peeing?
Is this question aimed at jimmy or his wife?

Tiny crossbow unfortunately.

Not sure I’d try to get a full size one through customs.

I don't see the point myself. The same tat can be gotten from UK sellers on Ebay most of the time. For the slightly more substantial items it's almost always cheaper to buy in the UK.

These suppliers are the ones that the UK sellers get their stuff from, show me where you can get a 1m Android endoscope for £5 from in the UK.

So my new (extensive) wish wish-list contains a right load of crap - among other things:

A green laser
A purple laser
Toothpick crossbow
Print of Deadpool on newspaper
Print of Darth Vader facing off against the queen alien
Various abarth stuff - stickers, key case, mug etc
A digital wall clock
A tap and die set
Shark slippers

I think I’m getting the hang of this now.

Wtf? Some of those sound useful. Fraudulent entry to the thread.

Ashamed to say that I bought several counterfeit items on Ali a few years ago. (In my defence, I was going through a period of comparative poverty at the time so could never have afforded the real thing.) They all needed much work done on them, and more money spent, to bring them up to scratch, so in the end weren't really worth it. I don't think you can get them now; indeed I notice that one former supplier of fakes has started selling them on eBay, but is now 'legit' as he puts his own name on them.

I still have the Chinese 'Dave' (yes, honestly, that IS the make!) electric violin I bought on eBay. Again it needed work done and money spent; for example I've just had to buy a new chinrest because it fell over last week and split in half - yes, it was plastic!

Having said that, yes there are bargain to be had; I still buy odd tools etc from China on eBay where of course you get more protection.

In today’s society of ordering stuff online and receiving it the next day or even the same day with some companies - all this waiting for stuff to arrive is killing me!

I've bought quite a lot of tat off wish recently.

I won't bore you with the AR components except to say when a piece of cheap steel magazine catch is $70 in the US and $7 on wish, you're going to go with the chinese version. It works, isn't load bearing and is extremely unlikely to fail. Actually, I've now enough spares that I really should buy another lower...the gun bag was a nice bit of kit for $20, too.

Aside from that, I usually get the $1 or $2 brushes, or a bulk pack of 50 Mr.Muscle magic erasers.

Currently, I'm waiting on:

So if my wife or I wake up in the night and go for a pee, we won't wake each other up.

Oh, and some umbrella corporation stickers.
I've got one of these, it's great!. Bought a friend one too for Xmas!

Batteries don't last long though as it's always sensoring I guess. Or the cheap batteries I'm trying to use up are no good. At £1 for 30 from the market it's probably the latter...

Definitely works well, I can pee in the night without waking SWMBO.
I'm worried about all of you with a toilet in your bedroom. M ver heard of an en suite and a door?

Any excuse to buy a load of rubbish is right up my street but I’ve always stayed clear of Ali, wish etc as I’ve read loads of stories of stuff never turning up.

So you guys are saying that stuff does actually arrive (eventually)

Oh dear...
It's a mixed bag.
My aliexpress history:
2 vuvuzelas. 1/3rd the price of ebay and just as annoying. Great.
Replacement dvd mech for my harman all in 1 job. Wrong lazer, didn't work.
2nd attempt to get above from another seller - never arrived and they rejected my "it's not here" case.
There won't be a 3rd.

Meanwhile, my cl early dodgy ebay Cree led bike lights are still going strong. I just don't charge them overnight or when i am out in case the house burns down smile
