Things are looking up. We haven't argued the past few weeks and it is slowly getting back to where we used to be.

The depression seems to have gone away for now.

We're going to a bonfire party on Saturday with the girls.

PND is a horrific thing. You need to support her & don't it personal.
I've lived through it & now things are great in my household.

Glad things are better however...

I still think there's unresolved issues she/both need to work through with a professional. You haven't addressed the cause, only let the symptoms subside. In my experience these things if left unresolved have a nasty habit of resurfacing.

If she doesn't want to seek help because of a fear of antidepressants that is understandable and any decent Doctor will note these concerns and find suitable alternatives. I'd like to think that most Doctors don't just reach for the prescription pad as a first port of call.

To summarise (because PH ya'll), waiting for depression to fix itself is like waiting for a EML light to go out and saying "Ah it's fixed now". Yes it may go out for a bit, but there was still a reason it came on in the first place and it will almost definitely return.

Just my 2p worth.

She wants him to "Treat her like a lady" whereas he "can't wait another minute"

Hope you can 'Find The Time' to connect together as a couple, as opposed to being a 'System Addict'.

Hate to break it to you OP, but depression does not just "go away". It might ease off, but it definitely does not go away just like that. She is likely masking how she is really feeling (to be honest, I'm not sure why I'm bothering posting, because you're unlikely to take on board anything I or anyone else says).
