So, the summer thread.....
Might be opening it up soon with some of the charts I'm seeing dragging up warm tropical air.

I can almost guarantee that this high pressure that's preventing winter will move back where it belongs and block summer.

This.

What see are seeing is the Cardiff-isation of our weather. Winter = 8-10c with rain, summer = 10-12c with rain. I grew up there and it wasn’t until I moved away that I learned that other weather is possible. The last couple of months have felt eerily familiar...

Bit like the West of Scotland these days. Only way to determine which season you are in is how heavy the rain is smile

Come on guys, we are still in the first month of winter. Still plenty of time for harsh weather. It's not over yet.

Cold and frosty walk round the lake, about -2 according to WU.
Where's that?

The men's eight was out on the Severn this morning, very rapid speed over the ground downstream, quite hard work upstream though.

^ Another foot forecast for today , generally their winters aren't too bad , quite short in comparison , but when they do get storms they tend to get big ones .

I am about 10 miles away from the airport, dunno if that makes a difference, my vintage barometer has never swung as far right as tonight!
