Very cold here now.
Alaska?
The freezer at work?
Yes, I'm trapped in the freezer.
Share some photos with us, then, to warm our cockles biggrin

Spectacular last few days on the south coast. I saw -2° in the fog this morning.

What a brilliant day this morning. If every winter could be like this I would be very pleased. I wouldn't even be miffed at the lack of snow. Just clear skies and nice cold mornings. smile
Exactly! It's pretty much the perfect winter weather.......29th Nov - 1st Dec was similar....cold, clear, with a little sun. So much more enjoyable out on the bike, than the grey, wet & windy garbage usually served up.

Valencia looked to be bad too, which was quite something.

I'm planning a roadtrip over the Pyrenees... In July. hehe

Definitely the coldest commute so far this winter for me today - Kent to London, by (motor)bike.
What gear do you have to keep warm and does it work? I was giving a few hardy bikers today plenty of room!
Full Goretex Pro suit, decent goretex gloves, and a few layers of merino under. My bike has heated grips, 2-stage, and the highest setting is too hot other than at motorway speeds, and I also have a heated seat biggrin Which is not too intrusive but helps with core temperature a little.

Some people have heated undergarments (waistcoat, gloves, etc) and swer by them but I haven't been tempted yet, plus they're v expensive.

Potential storm next Monday - it's been modelled for a while, with a very sharp temperature gradient featured on a front - squall line...

Thanks CAPP0; layers of merino can't be beat, particularly is the Pro does an effective job at stopping the wind.

Do you use mufflers? Even with heated grips, the hands suffer on the motorways!

Bar Muffs are 100% the answer, even better with heated grips. I had them on by CBR1100 when I was commuting daily. They looked silly, didn't care.

I've tried them a couple of times and I really can't get on with them. I'm 100% sure they are really effective. But my bike has multiple switchgear both sides, plus I do a lot of close filtering and they add to the width.

I'd be worried about hands being stuck in the event of a lowside etc...

Sorry. If its any consolation, we've not had snow for a few weeks. Been a bit chilly, but no precipitation since Christmas.
