Worst 4 weeks of weather I've known here in 25 years.

Yesterday we had hail storms every 30 minutes, 70mph gales and sunshine at the same time!

Pic taken when I was just about able to stand...

In the nicest possible way, you are a full-on tcensoredt.

"Pic taken when I was just about able to stand...", and the end product is something most folks couldn't dream of capturing in perfect weather!!

The shots you post on PH are stunning, whether its a camera or via a drone. Does much editing go into those between the shutter closing and the upload to a website if its not a rude question?

Whether you choose to answer or not, you clearly live in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, so keep the photos coming!!

Ended up with about 3" of snow, but in true Colorado fashion, it's largely melted.
It dumped nearly a foot up here overnight.
We're in plus temps and sun for the next 2 weeks , even had deck beers this afternoon . Would like to think it'll be an early Spring but I doubt that'll happen , still plenty of time to get nasty again but we have to live in hope .

Grey, wet and drizzling in North Suffolk. The fields around here gave up the ghost weeks ago and the local lanes are now water features.

We're on top of a hill and yet our garden is saturated and dotted with puddles.

GetCarter, eat your heart out. biggrin

This from a farming Twitter account; six of the last nine months have been significantly above average rainfall.

I'm getting sick to death of this now (Rossendale valley, Lancs). I really cannot remember such a long period of rain, and these storms are something else. One just seems to roll into another. I've tons I need to do outside and I just can't do it - the garden will just turn to mud if I work as it's saturated. Really really pissed off. I guess I really shouldn't live in one of the wettest places in the UK....

Spare a thought for farmers and construction workers!

Having a proper snow day here in the North Pennines. 2 to 3" of snow and the council don't seem to be out with salt or ploughs, so no school bus and very few people driving anywhere.

It's OK with me, I'm stripping paint off door frames and it's a slow business.

Grim traffic conditions around Bradford and Halifax this morning.
3-4" of snow up high, less low down but lots of packed ice. It was like driving on cobbles.
Huge amount of water running down the roads as it turns to slush.

No snow here, Worcestershire, Severn rising rapidly again, Bewdley predicted by 6pm Tuesday to be back at peak level last week where it was inches from overtopping defences. Actually looking at predicted level slightly higher and still rising. Interesting 36 hours coming.

Meanwhile no horse racing

Another wet day in Brizzle.
Yesterday was actually quite spring like, even a bit of sun at one point. Saturday was more rain...

Had to walk the kids down to school alongside the A65 in the slush this morning. Then had to walk back down with some dry trousers for the eldest!

If there's a seahorse running, best put your money on it.

You have plenty more to come down the river yet. I live on the Shropshire Wales border near Oswestry, and it has just stopped raining. Everywhere is flooded far worse than yesterday. Yesterdays water will be with you today down in Bewdley. Todays will be with you tomorrow.

We can't take much more of this.
