Perfect cloudless sky here in Sussex. Chilly breeze but good to see some sunshine for a change

A balmy 10c here in Aberdeenshire so I had the Z4 out for a run around some back roads that I'd never been down. Needed the heat seaters and heating on but otherwise a pretty enjoyable day.

What happens when high pressure drifts to our NW?

Next weekend looks really quite chilly. That will stop the hordes failing to maintain 2m.

Good, it was getting silly on my patch of the Peak District today. Lots of townies who must have thought they'd take one last look at the countryside.

It was lovely out there this afternoon, and we ended up taking the pooch on a 2.5 mile walk! It was just too agreeable not to be out and about.

The weather app is, however, showing snow (!!) later on this week.

I can't help wondering if our recent clear blue skies are due to the dramatic reduction in air travel.

But I'm loving it!

Nah it's due to high pressure.

High pressure brings the sunny sky - but it was proven during the Ash Cloud incident that the skies are more blue and less milky.

It's been gloriously sunny, with a cool breeze since Friday here in north Suffolk.

Apparently, this will continue for the foreseeable - bar showers on Saturday. So grateful there are miles of quiet footpaths right outside our door. So, social isolation doesn't mean being stuck indoors 24/7.

Blib same in West Berks. I'm trying to sneak a 2 mile walk in at lunch every day, just to keep moving and see something different. It's been quite nice to not need to go anywhere all the time. Getting those boring jobs sorted too, like cleaning windows.

Make the most of it over today, and if still legal the next couple of days.

What a fantastic weekend

Sat - Needed to get out after WFH all week, roof down on the car and a nice 3 hour blast about Kent/Surrey, lots of people were out having a hoon

Sun - Wanted egss but couldn't get any from Supermarkets so did a tour of Farm Shops in Kent, again lovely blasts down some good roads

Going to try and make the most of being stuck at home and the weather to start tackling the garden at lunchtimes

It's glorious here in North Dorset, after the winter we've had it makes everything better, even without going out anywhere special to enjoy it.

The irony of this spell of beautiful, dry weather arriving, just as we're supposed to be battening down the hatches and living like hibernating hermits...

Another day of unbridled sunshine here in Suffolk. I have spent so much time tidying up my garden in the past few days I might enter it in the Chelsea Flower Show!!

I've got tons of ballast and cement for finishing my paths, greenhouse disinfected and just arranging a delivery of enough timber to build a new car port.

Just been out and stocked up on car wax and assorted car/bike cleaning products.

Everything is going to look mint - assuming I don't end up out of work and having to sell everything!
