Difficult to compare as when we went into lockdown/fewer flights we came into this recent spell of good clear weather and down south pollution from road vehicles is a bigger factor. However one thing that is noticeable is the improvement in air quality.
Do remember reading that when aircraft were grounded after 9/11 global temperatures rose slightly and that was put down to the contrails which reflected sunlight. Although this could have been a Daily Star headline scratchchin

It has been clear, sky's blue, and colours brighter. Not sure if it's just high pressure rather than pollution. Probably a bit of both.

A few yrs ago we visited Florence, the pollution caught in the back of our throats. Pleased to leave the city.

I'd like to see it today to see what it's like now.

The sky does seem very clear an blue here the last couple of weeks (New Forest), maybe just the weather but it does feel that way. We also stood outside last night watching loads of satellites fly over, don't recall ever being able to do that before

I don't know if it's been mentioned on here, but the sky changing colour recently has been bloody extraordinary. I assume it's all over the UK, but here (NW Highlands) we are on the main Europe / USA flight-path and since the lockdown most of the 'purple' tint has disappeared from the sky, changing it to a pastel powder blue.

Reminds me of this.

Hey Jim , tempting fate but we've changed to our summer wardrobe , deck furniture out and counting the weeks until pool beers . Is it finally over ? grumpy dragged on far too long this year .

Lancashire - absolutely bloody freezing, and howling wind.

I was on a sun lounger this time yesterday, it was sweltering. Cancelled my day off work tomorrow.

Still snowing in Colorado.

Bertie should be doing this, but he appears to be delayed.

Jim, this appears late for snow or is it normal in your neck of the woods.
